Description

aplace/antwerp is located in the middle of the old town of Antwerp. On the corner of ‘de Groenplaats’ and the Big Market, the designer shops and the ‘Kloosterstraat’, known for its antique en curiosa. The ideal spot to discover Antwerp! It's locatiion, a charming little square in the very center of Antwerp (fashion district area) is literally around the corner of everything you want to see in this beautifull city.

This first floor flat has been completely renovated since december 2012. It is being decorated in a vintage / eclectic style combined with a few new objects which quarantees you a warm and cosy home with all modern comfort.

The flat has a fully equipped kitchen, a brown marble bathroom with tub/rainshower, a seperate restroom, a very bright and cosy living room and 2 bedrooms. The view on the Vrijdagmarkt is amazing, The large windows offers you a postcard view at night.

Price includes bed- & bath linen, Molton Brown amenities, espresso machine & Illy cups, tea, wifi, heating & electricity, weekly cleaning in case of an extended stay, laptop safe.

De Vrijdagmarkt is a quiet square that hasn’t been discovered by the big audience yet and ideal to meet local Antwerp people. Very unique and traditonal is the weekly auction on - fridays - on the ‘Vrijdagmarkt’. Here you can buy for a cheap price exclusive, retro and sometimes even valuable objects.

On this square you’ll also find the world famous Plantin-Moretus museum. The only printing/publisher in the world from the Renaissances and baroque time which has kept remained.

In the ‘Nationalestraat’ (= around the corner) and in the neighbourhood you can spend your money in various designer shops of famous Antwerp and international designers. (Dries Van Noten, Filippa K, Diane von Furstenberg, Paul Smith,, Stephan Schneider, Anna Heylen, …).

We are not child unfriendly, but since, on repeated occasions, we have received complaints from guests about noisy children disturbing the peace of other guests, or about babies crying all night, we unfortunately had to make the decision to require a minimum age of 12 years for children staying at aplace/antwerp.
