Marmotte Mountain Retreat offers you a truly memorable ski holiday in an idyllic location with superior service, second to none, by friendly chalet hosts and chefs.
This magnificent traditionally rustic styled chalet sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms which are situated amongst the tranquil pine forest located behind the quaint 18th Century village of Argentiere.
Adding to the ambiance of this real mountain retreat, there are two streams flowing through the forest garden and past the outdoor Jacuzzi, an idyllic place for deep relaxation tucked away in the forest, as well as plenty of space for children to toboggan and build snow caves. The immense beauty of these forest surroundings are heightened by stunning views of the Mont Blanc mountain range.
The cosy interior offers open plan living with a large open fireplace, WiFi access and multi-media entertainment units. The master bedroom has stunning views of the surrounding mountain range with a large en-suite and balcony. Bedroom 2 is a king double/twin with en-suite and bedrooms 3 and 4 are twin rooms sharing a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower. The spacious and fully equipped kitchen allows for both self-catered bookings or the services of a superior first-class chef fully catered.
You can take a short stroll through the forest to les Grands Montets ski area or use the friendly Marmotte Mountain staff services to take you to and from the ski slopes each day.

“The best skier-friendly accommodation in Chamonix area, bar-none”
Magical is an understatement when it comes to this place. Tucked away in the trees next to a babbling brook. it feels as if one is entering a private fantasy upon walking up to the chalet. The spot is paradise for the avid skier, however just about anybody would fall immediately in love with its charm. Luxuriously cozy, with warm fires, a wood-fired sauna, and a hot tub, this chalet is the perfect place to snuggle up after a long day out and about. The chalet itself is situated just a short walk from the center of Argentiere, which is a lovely town with everything you could need just outside of the craziness of Chamonix. Access to the mountains is ideal (you can ski down to the closest resort), and it is a short walk to the bus stop were you can catch a 10 minute bus-ride into Chamonix and other resorts. Beyond the accommodation itself though, what makes this chalet particularly special are the people that help to run it. Jon and his staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely lovely people who go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to guest accommodation. From great advice about where to go and what to do in and around Chamonix, to an amazing attention to detail, Jon and the rest of the Marmotte Mountain crew are simply wonderful. Additionally, the catered food is beyond compare. It truly is 5-star dining in the comfort of a home. All in all, this place is spectacular. I can envision no better place to have stayed and it is so easy to feel immediately at home in this beautiful spot. The only caveat is that you won't want to leave!

“This was the absolute trip of a lifetime...accommodations, food and mountains were spectacular!!!”
This was bar none the best snowboard trip Ive ever been on and I've been on plenty! Short of the unbelievable conditions and views that Chamonix has to offer, the Marmotte Mountain Adventure team absolutely waited on us hand and foot the entire week. The gourmet food was spectacular, the rustic accommodations were breath taking and again the team that catered to us for the week were unbelievably gracious and friendly. I would recommend this trip to any and everyone!

If you like to have some unforgettable impressions with some good old friends, ask Jon for a slot and a cabin! The place itself was wonderful, everything was arranged with an eye of detail.
