Sv. Jakov - a little Mediterranean place as many once were.
The apartment is perfectly suitable for families with children, but also for couples. For nature lovers and all those seeking some rest in intimate surroundings. It is registered for four persons (two beds in the bedroom, two spare beds and a cot bed) and is located at the ground floor. It has 48,5 m2 of the indoor space with a covered terrace (18 m2) and a courtyard (approximately 150 m2).
The building was erected in 2005. The interior space has been adjusted to the Mediterranean landscape; its charm and warm colours outline ambience of the place. On the other hand, the apartment is supplied with all modern utensils and appliances that make your vacation more relaxing.
A covered terrace with a courtyard located at the back side of the building certainly adds comfort to your stay and is ideal for children’s plays, lunch or dinner in a good company, or for reading in the shade while lying comfortably on your deckchair. Here you can prepare a barbecue for your loved ones, and you can find all the needed Mediterranean spices right there, growing next to the barbecue (rosemary, laurel, sage, basil…).
Inside the apartment there is a bedroom with two beds and a wardrobe. Beds are joint together thus making a double bed, but they can be separated in two single beds if needed. Fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining room, a living room and a bathroom. A washing machine, a dishwasher, SAT TV (Astra & Hotbird), DVD, Stereo, WiFi Internet, an air-conditioner, a parking space, a travel cot and a highchair with tray. Pets are allowed. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from smoking in the apartment’s indoor space.
If you arrive in the colder period of the year, those preparing a romantic atmosphere will find a wood-burning stove helpful (woods are prepared for you). On the other hand, pragmatic guests can always rely on the air conditioner’s remote controller.
When to come:
Seasons should not be a limit when you choose the time of your arrival on the island of Lošinj, since every season has its own unique beauty there. Still, one should pay attention to weather forecast during winter. Sometimes a cold northern wind bora blows for days and turns your plans for trips into a detailed sightseeing of the four walls of your apartment. On the other hand, the summer experience is a reason that attracts thousands of tourists to the island every year – this does not require additional explanations.
March and April offer you intensive flavours of the island of Lošinj, guaranteed tranquillity and a good rest. 250-kilometer long walking trails on five islands of the Lošinj archipelago wait for you, ready to take you to the adventure of discovering all the beauties of the island landscape. Make wild growing asparagus that you have personally harvested a part of your spring menu. Spend several days on the island and experience nature awakening in the best possible way.
May and June represent an introduction into “the long, hot summer”, while September and October with offer you mild weather that makes various activities possible, both by the sea and in the sea. There are no crowds on the island at that time, and the prices fit every pocket.
