Rated "Top Vacation Rental - Vanuatu - 2017, 2018 and 2020" by Tripadvisor. The Reef House is an architecturally designed award-winning property located on the ocean shores of Teouma Bay, just fifteen minutes drive from down town Port Vila and 25 mins from the airport.

It has amazing fantastic snorkelling and swimming immediately in front of the property along the pristine reef where tropical fish are in abundance.The bay is pristine and sheltered for swimming and perfect for children and adults taking those long refreshing dips with great dug out rockpools and sheltered reef diving less than 10m off the shore.

The Reef House has three building elements, cement, timber and stone. Six-meter-high ceilings and louvres combined with long breezeways cool the house in the hotter months. There are numerous "chill areas" so there are plenty of different spots to relax around the tropical grounds or inside the home - even if there are larger groups - whether it be the sunken den by the beach, the beach sundeck and firepit, the loungers under the coconut trees or daybeds along the front of the living areas, there is a spot for everyone.There are hammocks hung between the coconut trees to enjoy the gentle breeze and just enjoy those afternoon siestas.

Luxuriously appointed with all modern appliances and fittings you would expect in a home of this class, you will want for nothing during your holidays. There is a separate galley kitchen and prep area for entertaining or cleaning your catch of the day.Cool down with a swim in the fully fenced infinity saltwater pool with toddlers splash pool at the end.The property has free wifi and satellite TV, DVD Library, book library, snorkel equipment and Kayaks. We have eskys and other little items needed to make your holiday complete.There is a large built-in outdoor BBQ and preparation area off the main living area.The property has five large bedrooms, all with ceiling fans and large bifold or sliding timber joinery, master with ensuite, an additional shared bathroom and three outdoor showers to use after a dip in the sea. There is an outdoor couples bath off the master ensuite.

Response from the owner Hi There, thanks for the review. Unfortunately we do not have 24 hrs technicians on call in the islands so it does take sometimes to the next day. We not only one gas water heater malfunctioned and we have two and showers on the other side of the property were working but not utilised. We were unaware of the issue with the internet. Just let me know next time and Im happy to call the service provider or sometimes its s simple modem reset. The television always works fine for those that want to use it on holiday.Always feel free to contact us if you have any issues. We always like to offer a premium property and when contacted can fix anything asap. Im a little disappointed that Ive never heard from you before nor were you one of the booking group but an outside guest. However we take on board all reviews both good and bad. Hope to see you back in Vanuatu again in the future. regards glen
