Description
Villa Nusa offers stylish, versatile, private accommodation in a beautiful secluded setting, with outstanding views of the island, the ocean and Bali’s most sacred mountain, Mount Agung. Nestled among the trees on Lembongan Hill the property provides guests with a unique hillside hideaway with its own 10 metre infinity pool. This peaceful location is away from the main tourist centre but only a three minute motorbike or truck taxi ride, or a 12 minute walk, takes you to the main Jungut Batu beach strip. Here you will find hotels, bars and restaurants, spas, dive centres, boat hire, surfing instruction and other visitor facilities. To the west and south of the island, there are a number of popular beach resorts with a variety of restaurants and bars just steps from the water’s edge. Most offer door to door complimentary transport services.

The villa has two master bedroom suites on the ground floor, with big double beds, a/c, lots of cupboard space and ‘in and outdoor’ bathrooms with huge stone baths and deluge showers. Upstairs, the mezzanine has two large open plan spaces which provide another spacious double bedroom with an ensuite shower room, and an informal lounge/TV/games room, which can also be used as a further double or twin bedded room. The two rooms are linked by a bridge which opens onto a spacious balcony, the full length of the building, offering the most spectacular, panoramic views of the north of Nusa Lembongan, the rollers coming in at famous surfing spots like Lacerations and Shipwrecks, and the hills along the east coast of Bali - a perfect setting for breakfast or sundowners!
There is also an open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen (with breakfast bar) on the ground floor, all of which lead directly onto the white stone terrace, with its sun loungers, snuggle chair (for two!) and Bale giving ample space to stretch out next to the very inviting, private, 10metre infinite pool.
The Villa is self-catering but there is a range of catering options from which you can choose. First, once you book your stay at Villa Nusa I will send you a list of Food and Beverage items which we are happy to buy for you and stock in the kitchen ready for your arrival. Of course, if there is anything you want that is not on this list just add it and, if it is available in Bali, we will get it for you! There are also many local warungs and good international restaurants on the island, none more than 10 minutes away on a scooter, and some which offer pick-up and drop-off services so you don't have to worry about wobbling home! There are also a number of good restaurants that are happy to deliver anything from their menus - breakfast, lunch or dinner. Or, if you prefer, the staff can also prepare breakfast for you at the Villa or we can arrange the services of a very good cook, trained in an international hotel for many years, who will come to the Villa and cook for you. You have all the flexibility to make your stay exactly the way you want it.
And, as part of the exceptional service your receive at Villa Nusa, we will organise all your transfers and boat crossing from Bali to Lembongan so you do not have to worry about any of those logistics. We can also arrange for your transport once you are here in Nusa Lembongan. As there are no cars on this island, the main form of transport is scooters which can be hired by the day and are a great way to explore the island! But if you would prefer four wheels, truck taxis can be booked for specific trips or by the hour. There are also a few new 'golf buggies' that can be rented for a more sedate form of transport!
And, to ensure you fully relax at Villa Nusa, you can also enjoy a great massage any time - there is a massage bed on the balcony and Komang, our housekeeper, is also a fully trained massuese!

Response from the owner Thank you Kate for your review. I am delighted that you like the villa and hope to be back some day. But I am very disappointed that you were unhappy with the mezzanine bedroom. An a/c is not effective as the room is within a large open space and has a local thatchet roof but there is a ceiling fan and two standing fans which should provide good circulation and cooling. I'm very sorry that you did not find it sufficient. I will look for a solution. I will also see what the problem was with the dark curtain on the large eastern window which is meant to keep out the early morning sun. I look forward to meeting you when you return to this "little slice of paradise" and hopefully you will be happy with the improvements made!
