Description
A lovely 16th century former cider farmstead set in the very heart of the beautiful Pays d'Auge region of the Calvados departement of Normandy. Nestling into the southern slopes of a picturesque valley with meadows, pastures, orchards and woodland, La Boursaie has a picture postcard view across a valley of ancient manors and villages.
Our four charming and characterful half-timbered cottages, built in the traditional Colombage style typical only of this region, are set around a spacious pretty courtyard.
Bed & Breakfast AND Evening meals available, overnight, short break or a longer vacation all catered for
Relax under an apple, pear or ancient walnut tree whilst enjoying a refreshing glass of farm cider or Calvados. Stroll through wildflower meadows up into the fairy tale woods, rich in wildlife (red squirrel, buzzards, owl, deer, fox and badger, also many bird species and the odd wild boar! )
