Description

Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays, beautifully restored and refurbished in 2009, a self-catered chalet in a class of its own. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5 - 10 minutes stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley. There is a hot tub in the garden.

A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new. The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout - Contemporary Chamonix Chic.

There are 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin/double bedroom and 3 bathrooms across the upper two floors, whilst on the ground floor are an open-plan kitchen and living room. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with beanbags and a 130cm screen, there you can chill out with some DVDs.

The serviced price includes:

* chalet accommodation, sole use

* chalet charges, electricity, heating

* Egyptian cotton linen and towels, toiletries by L'Occitane

* representative service to help with lift passes, equipment hire, ski lesson, guides etc

* a final clean at the end of your stay

* a welcome hamper of food and kitchen essentials

Getting around

There is a ski bus stop right beside the chalet but this only has limited service (about once an hour.) The main bus stop at Chamonix Sud is about 5 minutes walk from the chalet and you can get buses from there to any of the lift stations in the Chamonix valley.

How do damage deposits work?

If Colleen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
