Description

Our period farmhouse, a listed building dating from 1643, is situated in a unique riverside location in the heart of the Lopikerwaard, just outside the village of Polsbroek. In these surroundings, you will be warmly welcomed by the Bogaard family: Pieter, Saskia and their children, Esmee and Mike.

The farm is in operation as a dairy farm and the 80 cows are milked with a robot. Naturally you will be able to watch the milking process, Among our permanent guests in the spring, we have a variety of meadow birds including the black-tailed godwit, lapwing and the redshank, because obviously we participate in the project: Protection of meadow birds.

The hayloft was converted into luxury apartments and, where once cows were milked, there is a hotel room. The two new apartments of this bed and breakfast Netherlands have a spacious living room with a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi Internet, an open-plan kitchen with all mod cons, such as a washing machine, microwave, fridge and, of course, an automatic coffee maker. There is a large bedroom with separate box spring beds (2.10m long), and the bathroom has a shower and toilet. In this spacious B&B Netherlands we also have two hotel rooms with a shower, toilet and separate box spring beds (2.10m long), and there is a cosy sitting area. The hotel room on the ground floor has under floor heating throughout, and is suitable for disabled guests. The apartments and hotel rooms have their own entrance and they all have a spacious private terrace with garden furniture. It is also possible to place extra beds in the rooms, making our farmhouse accommodation especially suitable for large groups. This farmstead offers you a combination of beautiful surroundings and the comfort of a luxurious hotelrooms or apartments in the form of a bed and breakfast Netherlands. In the morning the guests can enjoy a delicious farmhouse breakfast with fresh local products. The hotel guests have a common room with a kitchen unit, complete with coffee maker and electric kettle. There is also a washing machine and dryer, which is available to all our guests.
