Description
Located in beautiful unspoiled South Truro, Hedgebound offers the ideal vacation spot. The Estate is set on 2 acres of private beautifully landscaped grounds and gardens. It has 20+ rooms within the main house and carriage house, sharing 8,000 square feet of living space, ample room to stretch out, relax and enjoy.
A beautiful pool and hot tub were added to the property in 2018.
The main house enjoys an open floor plan, one room easily flowing into the next. A beautiful 3 season porch which overlooks the gardens is the perfect spot for morning coffee. A favorite of our children's is the lower entertainment area with game tables and media area.
The kitchen is a chef's dream with a SubZero refrigerator, 6 burner Viking range, 5 ft wide 10 ft. long expansive island, plenty of room for everyone to pitch in. The walk in pantry with another refrigerator can easily handle the needs of your family.
Six of the bedrooms are located in the main house. The master suite, located on the first floor, has beautiful cathedral ceilings, large ensuite master bath with double sinks and walk in double shower and french doors which open from the bedroom to the outdoor porch.
The upstairs of the historic home has 5 bedrooms, with one king, 2 queens and 2 double beds. The carriage house, located in the courtyard, offers additional quarters for family and friends. Located on the second level are two bedrooms with a queen and full and twin respectively, charming living room with sleeper sofa, full bath and partial kitchen.
The extensive lawn with underground sprinklers offers plenty of room for fun and sun. There is a charming cedar children's playhouse with a loft for those little imaginations.
Hedgebound enjoys easy access to both bay and ocean beaches and is just a short walk from Pamet Harbor. Truro, much of which is designated National Seashore, is a beautiful and unspoiled destination. There are over 8 beaches within a short distance from our home...you will quickly have a relaxed venue for your vacation.
The estate is located a few minutes from Provincetown and Wellfleet where you can enjoy the best that coastal cuisine has to offer and browse the charming galleries and shops. Bike trails are easily accessible from the home and area.
Hedgebound of Cape Cod is the perfect spot for family vacations, reunions, and special occassions.
