Description

A separate building to the main house in the Cactuspad premises, is a two-storey house with two identical apartments. Both apartments are available and are identical in their layout. The downstairs apartment boasts a private and small front and back garden. The upstairs apartment has a quaint balcony. Both units have their own private entrance from the street and a cosy rectangular layout. Both have two bedrooms and a bathroom leading from the main kitchen/dining/living area.

The apartments are quiet, and situated in the delightful neighborhood of El Eden, a five minute walk from the Charles Darwin Research Station, seafront and town centre.

We have a nightly rate varying between $80-$120/night/apartment

Our weekly rate is from $490/week ($525/week for the upstairs apartment) and starts on any day of the week if available. Any additional nights more than a week will be charged at $70-75/night.

We have a travel agency dealing with land-based tours: galapagoslandbased. These are sometimes tricky to organize from outside of Ecuador! We also work out tours in Galapagos and Ecuador with a great insight into the cruises, being naturalist guides ourselves.

There are currently problems with the internet service on the island. The demand is high and the service is very limited due to infrastructure. The result is that the internet is almost non-existent during the day. I've found that very early morning, between 3-6am, the internet is reasonable.

During the day, messaging works but downloading any pages just doesn't happen.

Response from the owner Dear Kim We appreciate your comments in order to improve our service. We apologize for the inconvenice for second taxi transfer for your friend that arrived two days later , we provided the transfers dates to the person in charge. Therefore your transfer was succeded, but the driver was confused for the second one and he did not show up, instead he went next day. This is very rare ans we have improved our comunnication with taxi drivers to avoid this happen again.

How do damage deposits work?

If PAUL (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
