If you're looking for a holiday home furnished to a high standard with a contemporary feel then we think Tickle Cottage is just for you. A great standard of property with a sprinkle of those homely touches to make your stay welcoming and comfortable from the moment you arrive.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms with 5 beds, an open plan living/dining area and a patio overlooking a pretty split level communal area which is beautifully lit as the evenings turn in to night. A perfect area for little ones to play safely while being overlooked by the older ones who can relax on the garden furniture while flipping steaks on the brick built BBQ!

Located on 5 miles of fantastic blue flag beach, The Bay in Fliley is the perfect location to explore the surrounding coastal areas, villages and historical centre's of Yorkshire! New for 2023

Max 2 Dogs . No dogs upstairs...Absolutely NO all girl/boy parties like bachelor /hen parties..No late night noise...we will have it nice so please respect the place. thanks Lynne

“Wonderful Tickle Cottage”

“Lovely little cottage!”

Just returned from a mon-fri stay here.. Lovely little cottage with a nice community garden out the back patio doors (perfect and safe for children) my two little boys made lots of little friends out there with other children in the cottages. clean on arrival and everything you need there including a dish washer, washer and everything you need in the kitchen. No towels but this didn't bother us as we new before arrival so took our own for all occasions. We also parked right outside the front door which was a bonus for us having 2 children! The cottage is a short walk away from the complex and around 20 mins to the beach but I will mention it is a very long walk to filey itself so it is a small drive into filey unfortunately. Very dog friendly place so if you don't like dogs I probably wouldn't go here, we don't have a dog ourselves but we was ok with this although I wasn't keen on eating our tea in the complex restaurant next to two dogs. If you are wanting to go swimming I would recommend booking in advance and getting an up to date time table as the one in the cottage is very out dated (we did leave our leaflet) Swimming sessions are 1 hour slots throughout the day and unfortunately was booked up for the whole 5 days we were staying but we did manage to get in twice due to no shows but this was a risk of turning up and possibly having disappointed children. It seems the restrictions are still in place with limited numbers and 1 hour slots etc. Very basic swimming pool but it was ok, also the park is very hidden away behind the tennis courts this took us 4 days to find!!! I Will mention the heating is also on a timer so sometimes the cottage could be very warm but never cold which is a bonus. Overall this cottage was lovely, clean and the back garden was a sun trap and enjoyable. We all enjoyed our little break away thank you!

“Lovely few days away at Tickle Cottage”

Lovely 2 bed cottage on the Bay. There was everything there we needed, could park outside the house , lovely sunny patio area with table chairs and brick bbq . 2 comfortable bedrooms. The only thing missing was a bigger freezer , every thing else was perfect and we will hopefully return soon.

Had a lovely stay, cottage had everything we needed and more. Nice and clean and comfortable. Loved being able to walk to the beach and relax on the sunny patio. Would definitely recommend and hope to return ourselves.

“Nice house and area”

Nice holiday home set in a modern little holiday resort. The house had everything we wouldve needed and the location was also great with only a 10 minute walk to a great big beach, that the dog loved! Only downside was that we were there the weekend storm Ciara hit!
