Description

A 200-year-old cottage in the picturesque riverside village of Lympstone. Set in the centre of this beautiful Devon village surrounded by three pubs serving excellent food and close to the harbour and cycle path linking with neighbouring Exmouth and historic Topsham. The cottage has two bedrooms, one double and one with bunk beds. A shower room and a fully fitted kitchen with washer drier. Next door is the local convenience store and opposite is the popular Swan Inn and the village rail way station running every half an hour into Exmouth or Exeter. This is an ideal location for walkers and cyclists with easy access to the River Exe cycle path which runs around the edge of the river from Exmouth to Exeter and then along to Starcross with Ferries running at regular intervals. The popular family resort of Exmouth is just two miles away by road, rail or footpath offering two miles of golden sands.

“Lovely cottage”

This cottage was very cute and in a brilliant location for visiting Lympstone. It had everything you could possibly need in it and was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again!

Lovely little cottage, which is perfectly located for excellent local pubs, the river and the train station to other interesting local areas. The owners are also really lovely and helpful, which makes your stay even better!

“Lovely little cottage”

Small but perfectly formed. If you lean out of the front door you can almost touch the pub over the road. If you have an hour to kill... sit on the flower box outside the cottage's front window and watch the word cycle past.

“Adorable cottage in a gorgeous village .”

We absolutely loved staying in the cottage for a weekend and loved the village . The pub across the road is fabulous and the Roast dinners are to die for . We will definitely return as we’ve fallen in love with this fabulous coastline . Peter met us at the cottage and gave us a few tips and was on hand if we needed anything. We couldn’t of asked for more !
