Description
You can enjoy the beautiful experience to live in Orvieto by taking the keys of an historical house, the home in which I grew up and in whom you will be the owner of during your stay.
Palazzo Febei will open its doors and welcome you in its 400 years of history. As you enter you are greeted with a grand entrance, following onto a library, a lounge and the great dining room off from these rooms are 3 grand bedrooms, continuing on you will discover the studio, the main bathroom a kitchen/dining area and a second bathroom all presented with class and elegance and fitting with the history of the home. This 390sq meter home and all it's antiques and treasures will keep you busy for the first couple of hours of your stay.
With large spaces and every comfort (Aircon, heater, fireplace, full equipped kitchen, home theater etc..), the property is covered entirely by a network fast wifi, one of the dining room and all the 3 main bedrooms are equipped with 40-inch Samsung Smart TV with internet acces.
The private study is equipped with PC , color laser printer and stationery for your needs.
Placed exactly in the center of Orvieto the house is just behind the duomo and a few meters from the 'torro del Moro' and other major monuments. I'm sure you will marvel at the beauty of the house, just as myself and my family have over the years. I hope it will be the perfect refuge in your experience in Orvieto, that in its rooms you can travel back in time and let your imagination soar in its elegant and historic spaces.

“Incredible! Felt Like we were Staying in a Wealthy Aristocrat's Palazzo!”
I'm not sure where to start; there's so much to say about this incredible place. To begin with it's ENORMOUS, about 4200 square feet all on one level. 3 massive bedrooms; living room; study; dining room; office; large kitchen and 2 bathrooms; one of which looks like it belongs in a 5 Star Hotel. Really, you'll be stunned at how spacious this place is. It's located right in the heart of lovely Orvieto, within easy walking distance to all sights and restaurants. I can't say enough about the owners; Alessandro and his father Caeser. We were a party of 6 and came by train from Rome and the father met us at the train station. He proceeded to pack all our luggage into his car and he drove up to the town while we took the funicular. Can you imagine what a Godsend that was for us not to haul all our luggage up the funicular and then to the apartment? He then helped us take the luggage upstairs. (Yes it's over 50 steps but basically all apartments in Italy are on upper floors, so don't let this deter you). Alessandro was also extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. We incorporated an overnight stay in the nearby hamlet of Civita di Bagnoregio and he booked us a taxi to drive us there and return the next day. If you have the time I strongly suggest you do this. Stay 3-4 nights in Orvieto and in the middle, go to Civita for the night. We left all our luggage in the apartment, except for a small overnight bag, took a taxi to Civita, then came back 'home' to Palazzo Febei the following day. I could go on and on. Bottom line, this place is fantastic; massive; has a superior location; is very affordable for what you get and is owned by 2 very kind, considerate and helpful gentlemen. If I return to Orvieto I will absolutely stay here; I will recommend it to friends and family coming to this region of Italy. I'll even recommend it to complete strangers! So, go to the lovely city of Orvieto and for a memorable experience, stay at Palazzo Febei!!
