CASA HIBISCUS:

Convenient location in quiet Muneco neighborhood at the foot of Mt. Resaca. 20 minute walk/5 minute drive to town and ferry, 3 minute drive to grocery. 6 minute drive to Flamenco Beach. Private use of home.

Cold wall ACs in each bedroom, ceiling fans and tower fans in every room.

Shoes, flip flops, and sandals are not allowed inside the house. Sand is not allowed inside. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.

CASA HIBISCUS - Is very private with it's own entrance and bamboo fenced yard.

THE HOUSE: Our tropical vacation home has 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, upstairs lounging area, downstairs living room, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, two downstairs outdoor patios, one upstairs sundeck and one upstairs balcony patio. Large tropical outdoor shower!!!!

THE PATIOS: Covered front patio for outdoor dining and relaxation. Covered back patio with comfortable seating, rocking chairs, hammock, mini-fridge to keep some cold beverages handy :-), BBQ grill/smoker, access to outdoor shower. Upstairs sun and star gazing deck with lounge chairs right off the lounge area. Upstairs balcony patio directly off the bedroom with the king bedrooms.

THE KITHEN: The kitchen is fully equipped for all your dining and entertaining needs. We provide a full sized refrigerator, full sized gas stove, toaster oven, microwave, electric coffee machine, blender, toaster, plates, bowls, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, knife butcher block set and many more kitchen amenities for you to discover.

THE BEDROOMS: There are two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. One of the downstairs bedroom has two extra long twins beds and one bedroom downstairs has a large queen bed. One bedroom upstairs has a large king bed and one bedroom upstairs has a full sized bed with a memory foam mattress. Each bed is customized for your comfort with extra pillows and throw blankets.

Casa Hibiscus can sleep 10 with a queen elevated comfortable airbed with built-In electric pump.

THE BATHROOMS: One downstairs bathroom with a shower, sink

and toilet.

One upstairs bathroom with large glass block and tile shower, vanity sink and toilet.

THE BEACH GEAR: We have many beach amenities including beach towels, beach blankets, beach chairs, beach coolers and lots of beach toys.

THE UPSTAIRS LOUNGE: In our lounge we have a 32 inch Smart TV, Smart Blu-Ray Player, Netflix, lots of dvds and blu-ray movies for all ages, scrabble, chess, backgammon, cards, dominos, books and a nice Bluetooth Sound Bar.

THE FANS: Casa Hibiscus has a ceiling fans in every room of the house. We also provide oscillating tower fans in every room of the house. All the fans keep a nice tropical breeze blowing throughout Casa Hibiscus.

THE ACS: Casa Hibiscus has air conditioners in each of the four bedrooms to enjoy a cool nights sleep.

THE PROPERTY: Our property is a slice of paradise on Culebra. Location is in the quite neighborhood of Muneco at the bottom of Mt. Resaca. Casa Hibiscus is at the end of a small road which offers lots of privacy. The back of the property faces a dry river bed. Lots of privacy.

THE OUTDOOR SHOWER: After a day at the beach there is a nice outdoor shower to rinse off or to just take a nice shower with hot and cold water. The outdoor shower is located at the back of the house just off the back patio. When I am at Casa Hibiscus I only shower in the outdoor shower because it is so relaxing and nice to do :-). Many guests tell me they do the same.

JUST FOR ENJOYMENT: Enjoy a quiet evening on the front patio swinging in the hammock or entertain on the back patio while grilling up your favorite recipes. Charcoal combo grill/smoker is provided. Just bring charcoal and your ready for a fun evening barbequing and reminiscing about your days adventures. I just love doing this at Casa Hibiscus.

The beauty and simplicity of the island will leave you reminiscing each day while relaxing at humble Casa Hibiscus.

NOTE: the WIFI/Internet is high speed and excellent! There can be times when it is very slow in all over Culebra. Once in a great while it just doesn't work at all throughout the whole island. For these time we have lots of blu-ray movies and games to kick back with if internet goes down :-) or even if it doesn’t go down :-).

GUEST ACCESS: Full private access to entire home with all amenities including 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 downstairs patios, 1 upstairs sun deck/patio and 1 small balcony

-Flamenco Beach is 6-8 minutes (2.5 miles) by car or 10-12 minutes by golf cart from the house.

-The closest grocery is a quick 3 minute drive.

-Downtown is a lovely 20-30 minute walk or 5-6 minute drive, where you will find the center of town, the ferry port, shopping, restaurants, light nightlife, post office, bank, ATM, gasoline and grocery stores.

-Airport is a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk.

Getting around

I recommend renting a golf cart or a jeep from Jerry's Jeep, Carlos Jeep or ATV Golf Cart Rentals. If renting a vehicle is not in your itinerary there are taxis available. In fact my neighbor has a wonderful taxi van service or you can walk to the right of entrance of the airport, about a 10 minute walk, and flag down a taxi.

Interaction with guest

-Self check in. Keys will be in a lockbox. Lockbox code will be provided at 3pm check in time. Early check in is not available. This is not negotiable. Luggage drop off before check in is not available. This is not negotiable. Please plan your travel around a 3pm or later check in. -You can always reach me via Airbnb Message Center or my property manager via text message or phone call. -Check-out is easy. At 11am or earlier put keys back in lockbox. Late check out is not available. -Please make sure Casa Hibiscus is neat,tidy, and all trash is removed from the house. Check out instructions are listed in the Casa Hibiscus manual located on the kitchen counter. Thank you and enjoy Culebra!!!!
