Smithy Cottage in Tirril, has 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6Smithy Cottage in Tirril. Sleeps 6.The sitting room has an open fire. Dining room has French doors to the garden and the kitchen opens out into a conservatory. Double bedroom with TV and en-suite shower room with basin and WC, Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room with basin and WC, and a children's twin bedroom. Family bathroom,basin and WC. Garden. To the front of the cottage, off road parking for 2 cars. Smithy Cottage is ideal for family or friends to stay in the Lake District any time of year.
Amenities: Oil central heating plus open fire. Electric double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. TVs, DVD, Wifi. Oil, electricity. Bed linen and towels provided. Travel Cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden. Three dogs welcome. Pub 100m. Fell walks in the neighbourhood. Penrith, Ullswater 10 minutes drive. Logs are not provided.

Town: The picturesque village of Pooley Bridge sits on the northerly edge of Lake Ullswater in the Lake District National Park. The name Pooley came to be due to the forming of a large pool, which was left by the fast flowing River Eamont, and the word Bridge was later added when a bridge, which is now 250 years old, was built over the river. Pooley Bridge has many traditional inns and tempting tea rooms, plus the Ullswater Steamers depart from the village, from where a tranquil cruise down the lake to the villages of Glenridding and Howtown can be enjoyed.. Pooley Bridge is an ideal base for a cottage holiday stay in the stunning Lake District.

As you aware from our Terms and Conditions which are clearly displayed on our website and sent to you with your holiday confirmation we do ask guests to call us with any problems during their stay in order that we can rectify issues and make their holiday more comfortable and enjoyable. We have not been contacted by yourselves or received any email complaints from our guests staying at Smithy Cottage, as we have no name to go on or arrival date we are assuming you left the property on 4th May and your review posted on 8th May, giving us insufficient time to investigate and respond even had we received your complaint. Please resend your complaint to info@lakescottageholiday.co.uk where we can properly investigate and reply accordingly. As standard, the majority of our properties do not supply towels and again this is stated in our Terms and Conditions. However, if you had called us on arrival we could have arranged to have some sent over to you.
