It is a super location that will enable you to explore the beautiful Yorkshire coastline ideal for walking or cycling. There is a lovely view from the front of the house of the pretty local church of St. Oswalds. The village centre is a 5 minute walk, offering a local Co-op store, pharmacy, butcher, cafes, restaurants, fish and chip shop and several pubs that serve food.

Easy walking distance to the beaches of 1/2 mile to South Landing, 1mile to North Landing and 1 1/2 mile to Flamborough Head Lighthouse.

A bus service from outside the door into Bridlington,15 minutes away with its shops, beaches, leisure centre and Spa theatre. There is limited parking space outside the cottage for 5 cars parking on a first come first served basis.

The one bedroom cottage sleeps 2 adults only. It is not suitable for babies or small children.

The lounge is a comfortable cosy area, with a leather sofa and arm chair, a small multi fuel cast iron wood burner. WiFi Internet, Smart Television and DVD player, a collection of DVDs and range of board and card games.

“Puffins Nest a complete joy”

Reviewed 30 May 2023

Had the best time at Puffins nest which is the most beautiful little stone cottage in Flamborough. A massive puffin fan the cottage had lovely little puffin touches and was completely equipped with everything needed for a very comfortable stay, was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated throughout. Helen met us on our arrival and explained everything perfectly. Saw lots of puffins, seals and lots of other species of birds at Flamborough head and the coastline is breathtaking. Would certainly recommend both puffin cottage and Flamborough and surrounding areas to anyone, especially as the sun shone for the whole week of our visit. We will definitely be back xx

“Great short break”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2020

Helen made us feel really welcome and has taken a great deal of time and effort to ensure the cottage is Covid safe. Cosy little cottage which is well equipped. Good location, close to the village with a well stocked Co-op within walking distance. Local attractions such as Flamborough Head, Bempton Cliffs, North and South Landing are nearby - either a short drive or subsantial walk away. The bus stop directly outside the front door links Flamborough with nearby Bridligton. We enjoyed visiting Bridlington Old Town (albeit by car not by bus) which was used for scenes from the 'Dad's Army' film. Architecture from a bygone era was really interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable short break.
