The view
Although it was extremely hot and humid, the (almost) fully air-conditioned Colibri was up for the challenge. Having stayed in several Catered To villas with beautiful views, we were struck with the great view from the living room as well as the deck - it was the same. It was a nice panorama with St. Thomas in the center and the entrance to Great Cruz Bay on the right. And facing west, we had some beautiful sunsets. An inconvenience was that there is no bathroom connected to the living area, requiring one to go outside to reach the master suite (part of the villa but no internal entry) or outside and down the steps for the other bedrooms. The other inconvenience - which is obviously just an issue in the heat of the summer - was that the master bathroom is not covered by airconditioning, although the two downstairs were. Over all, we enjoyed the stay and would try Colibri again.
