| My family and I enjoyed the cottage, the Island, and Savannah greatly. The cottage was well stocked, beautiful, comfortable, and the directions to get there were clear. I'd definitely go again. |

| Renting through Mermaid Cottages was a very worthwhile experience and Sunset Cove was just what we were looking for. It was very clean, spacious, relaxing and a great location with a private dock and gazebo on the marsh. We liked the idea of being on the ocean but the salt marsh area was interesting and so quiet ... and the ocean was only a few, very pleasant walking blocks away. The people we met while they were out walking or biking were friendly and made us feel like neighbors rather than tourists. Definitely want to return to Tybee and for sure will be looking to visit Sunset Cove again. |

The Mermaid service was friendly and pleasant. Any concerns were handled quickly.
Sunset Cove Cottage was very comfortable for the six of us with plenty of parking for three vehicles. We loved all the windows looking out over the tidal creek and the bird feeder next door.
We loved sitting on the dock/gazebo watching the wildlife and the sunsets. The library, especially the wildlife books, was great. The laundry facilities were very convenient. The grill and picnic table were appreciated, as well.
Sunset Cove is a wonderful place to relax. Be sure to bring your insect repellent for the evenings.
Tybee Island is a lovely little costal village. The people are very friendly and the seafood is great.

My family and a guest stayed at Sunset Cove for five nights. The house features a split bedroom layout where two of the four bedrooms are located in a different area which creates more privacy.
Everything worked well in the house, and the master bedroom contains a computer. The house is convenient to all Tybee locations and AJ's Dockside restaurant is a block away. I recommend bringing or renting bicycles to get around, especially in the evening. The sunsets over the private pier and marsh are beautiful.
Highly recommended as a peaceful getaway! |
