Then spend the day taking advantage of all your favorite water play or just basking in the sun. Along with your water toys, remember to bring your mountain bike or hiking boots; the state park adjoining the lake has wonderful trails winding down to the Platte River. Back home as evening settles in, let the flaming sunsets calm your spirits as you roast marshmallows over a small bonfire.
