Easy check-in at around 5 pm. Room was on the top floor, clean and adequately equipped. Bed was very comfy and spacious. Great view from lanai. Storage space for clothes somewhat limited and could use another dresser. Entertainment unit shows its age and there is only a vhs player. The room is not well insulated from the adjoining unit and noise can be heard. Rosters are also noisy after 3 am but that is just Kauai charm. We had the please of spending 4 nights in #7308 at the Hanalei Bay Resort. First of all, the resort is spectacular. The grounds are stunning, the views are incredible, and the pool is perfection - with its secret cave behing the waterfall.

The condo itself is just right. It's decor is perfect - with it's ethereal canopy bed. The bathroom is spacious. There's a mini fridge and all of the toys you need for Kauai - boogie boards, umbrella, beach chairs, and beach towels. The view from the huge sliding doors puts it over-the-top. Bali Hai in the distance and Hanalei Bay in the foreground makes for stunning sunsets.

Next time I visit Kauai, I will come back to the same place. The HB Resort is a dream. Oh, and I almost forgot the bar. Happy Talk is perfect for snacks and awesome mai tais. Plus, they have live entertainment - including hula dancing!

I seriously spent weeks trying to decide where to stay on Kauai. It was worth all of the research, this place is #1. So stop looking and book it :)

This is the second year in a row my husband and I have stayed at this particular condo, and we plan on continuing to return year after year.
