| This unit is tastefully decorated and nicely furnished. However, upon awaking our first morning we were puzzled to see metal poles standing immediately outside the lanai door. Then upon further inspection tools, paint buckets, air compressors, and much more were strewn around the lanai. Since we are travling with a 2 year old this immediately meant that the lanai area was dangerous. At 8 AM a work crew showed up and closed off our access to the ocean-- both from the unit and the steps around the building-so much for all of the promises of ocean and 30 steps to the waves. After telephoning the owner we were immediately offered a 50% discount or the option to move out...considering that a day had already been wasted and we had already settled into the unit and that we had not traveled to Maui to spend all of our time searching for a new unit or packing and unpacking several times. Of course the owner, being an attorney and real estate broker, knew that she was in trouble. There is no excuse for not knowing what is happening at your own unit, especially since the construction had been continuing for several weeks. There are many other units in the same area as well as better locations in Kihei. In general the Big Island has much more to offer compared to Maui. |

My husband, 4 year old son and I stayed in unit 105
and had a wonderful family vacation. This ground
floor unit was not only well equipped with everything
we needed, it was also perfect for my son to play on
the grass outside our lanai. The location and views
were spectacular. The few steps down to the beach
made for a nice quick jump in the ocean. We also saw
many sea turtles just off shore. All the people we
ran into at the Kaleialoha were very helpful and
welcoming. We'd definitely stay there again! |

| We had a wonderful stay in Condo 105 at the Kaleialoha Resort. Everything was as described and all of the amenities and accomodations were high quality. We were especially pleased with the king-size bed, which was extremely comfortable - something we can't say about every condo we've stayed in!! We had the trade winds, so there was always a nice breeze thru the unit. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and we would recommend this condo to anyone. |

We saw and swam with the resident sea turtles numerous times during our stay. I would recommend bringing a suitcase full of food to save money. |

We just spent a wonderful 10 days at Cheri's place on Maui and it was an
ideal experience. This is the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental
home in the U.S. -- and it was perfect. The condo was close to the beach
and on the ground floor, just a short walk across the lawn to enjoy our
morning coffee with Molokai, Lahaina and the Pacific to greet us. The
manager had keys waiting for us on arrival. Everything was in order
when we arrived, and we were pleased to learn that the pictures online
matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures! We had to extend
our stay 1 day early and Cheri could not have been more accommodating.
We'd definitely recommend this condo - especially if you're looking to
relax and want to spend a lot of your vacation at the beach. We cooked,
on both the gas and the charcol grills and they were clean and ready to
use. With stores in Lahaina and a local natural food store all our needs
were met. We'll be definitely back next year. Aloha & Mahala Jim & Pam |

| I really enjoyed staying at the Kaleialoha Resort. My condo unit was outfitted in a tropical motif, the livingroom was roomy and pleasant, the kitchen was appointed with most everything I needed, and the bedroom was very nice. My unit also had a small ice-chest, a beach umbrella, snorkels and fins which was a big plus. There were also 2 different kinds of plug-in fans which were definitely needed on the hot days (90 degrees plus). It was wonderful to open the glass doors, walk out onto the grass and sit in a chaise lounge, or eat at one of the tables, and look out onto the ocean. A beautiful experience! I would definitely go back to the Kaleialoha Resort. |

| I had never been to Hawaii, had a business trip to Honolulu and had a few days to see another another island. I loved the 1st floor location; we could walk out our door and overlook the ocean. We were surprised to see a gathering outside our first night there (Monday), and discovered an informal potluck that occurs every Monday night. Everyone was friendly, made us feel welcome even thoughwe were short term, and recommended things to do and places to eat. I wanted to see whales and sea turtles and we were told to just look out at the water. We saw more whales (at a distance) than we did later on a whale watching boat trip. The condo was very clean and comfortable. My son and I would gladly stay there again. |

Very quaint, clean and quiet condo space. The owner was avaiable to speak with prior to my stay. The manager was also available to us, although we didn't need them during the 2 week stay. The views from the patio were unobstructed and beautiful. As soon as I can get 2 weeks off again I plan to stay in the same codo. We had everything we needed...towels, kitchen stuff, music, comfortable furnishing... a great market to walk to, a grill on sight...It was wonderful!
Safe area. We never felt nervous about being watched, robbed...( as there were 2 women staying )... great local restaurants near by too! Book it now!

| This cozy unit made our stay in Maui pleasant. As new parents, it was great to feel like we were enjoying it all (whales and Maui sunsets from the lanai or even the couch!) even though we needed to stay close to 'home' much of the time. The parking lot is small so it was so easy to tote baby and gear to and from the condo. We appreciated the nearby amenities as well such as a kids' playpark and supermarket. Having laundry right in the unit was very handy and a feature we will seek out at other destinations. The kitchen was so well-stocked that we even ended up making baby food there (the selection of 'bought' food wasn't great, even at Wal-Mart). Since the whole focus of this review has been the family-friendliness of Unit 105, I will mention that we did have enough room in the bedroom for a crib (great baby rentals on Maui!) but there is no bath tub, only a shower. Lastly, if you do go, make sure to take your garbage out frequently, in just a few days, creepy crawlies will come to visit. We felt so safe letting our little guy play because it's a ground-floor unit. The location is also very handy for setting out for other beaches in the area. We especially recommend taking a snorkel set out to Kahana Bay -the fish were fantastic! :-) |

Unit contained all the amenities required, very clean and very comfortable. Definitely a possible unit for our next trip to Hawaii as it is close to everything, has access to a good beach, good snorkeling and plenty of turtles. Good location for whale watching later in the year. |

The nice part was the ground floor unit was great for access to the beach area. The patio was in shade for most of the day once you have had enough of the sun. The people we met in the complex were most helpful and friendly.
This was our first trip to Maui and we would highly recommend this unit. We just wish we were able to spend more time their, but maybe next time. |

The unit itself was about the best located in the condo. Oceanside and very quiet. The unit itself was spotless and had every amenity we needed. Particulary enjoyed swimming with the resident turtle about 50 feet directly in front of condo. Very handy to all services. Pool was always clean and hardly used. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and look forward to again enjoying our next holiday there. |

We stayed here for a week in April 2008, our first time to Maui and the first time not staying in a hotel, this couldn't have been a better experience!
The condo (105) was just as described, the pictures found on their website (www.alohacondos.com) are exactly what it looked like and we really enjoyed being on the ground floor, just a short skip to the lawn chairs and BBQ. We bought groceries and cooked most of the time we stayed and this was an added plus, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots & pans, dishes, silverware, everything we needed and felt right at home.
The condo isn't a part of the Kaleialoha Resort but the staff couldn't have been more helpful in answering questions and giving us information about best places to eat and visit (and so were the other tenants and homeowners).
There's no beach directly in front of the resort but made no difference, the snorkeling was good, we had sea turtles not more then 5 feet away and it's a short walk to Black Beach.
I highly recommend Aloha Condos and Unit 105, everything was perfect and we're planning another trip this year, will definetly stay here. |

| Really nice owner, gift basket, wonderful neighbors nightly gatherings to watch the sunset. This unit is right on the patio area. Great views of the ocean but limited privacy. Bed was fairly comfortable. The only negative would be the cockroaches. There were lots of them. This is a common problem on the islands. I would maybe consider this unit again but I would make it a point of seeing where the buildings were at with infestations. Again, it happens everywhere over there. |

| What a wonderful restful holiday we had at Kaleialoha Resort #105. The room was immaculate and the Aloha basket was very thoughtful. The well stocked condo had everything you could need, including beach chairs, Boogie Board and something they didn't advertise, a private washer and dryer. The Lanai is about 15 steps to the ocean, where every day we would watch the turtles feeding and the whales breaching. There is a small beach (went swimming there 3 times) but its probably more accessible in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The back off the Lanai is well grassed and lots of lounge chairs for sunning. If you are looking for parties and night life in you place of residence, this is not the place for you. If however you are looking for a quiet well kept little peace of heaven to recharge your batteries, this would be a great place for you to go. For us, it was just a wonderful restful 3 weeks. By the way, the golfing was fabulous. Aloha. |

I've stayed twice at Kaleialoha 105 and hopefully again in Sept 2009. The pool is solar and its wonderful. The bbq area is wonderful. The guests and residences are very friendly. A short drive to Lahaina for excellent tacos and happy hour at the Blue Lagoon. Longs Drugs store is the place to purchase beverages when you run out. Did I tell you about the turtles, hootie the seal and dolphins? Big/huge turtles swim right up to the waters edge, hottie swims by occasionaly and we've seen dolphins in the distance. I recommend this unit 1000%. Have a grrrreat time. |

We consider it our home away from home and long to return one day.
