Great condo with an ocean view and comfortable living space. |

We have stayed in this community for three years now and would highly
recommend it. The condos are well kept, have W/D A/C or fans - lanais with
great views. This had had ample beach towels and tour books on HI. The
location is great, about 10 mins from 'downtown' Kona, as well as close to the
Southern region with coffee plants and coves for snorkel. Would definitely rent
this unit again. |

| The condo was well-cared for and had all the amenities one could wish for and more. We really enjoyed the ocean view and the quiet surrounding. There was a grocery store nearby with a large selection and this allowed us to take advantage of the well thought out kitchen as well as the BBQ facilities. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave! I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and hope to be able to return someday. |

| Excellent location near Keahou Shopping Center. Beautiful pool and lava shoreline just steps from the front door. Spacious and well-equipped. Staff left a bottle of wine for our 25th anniversary - nice touch! |

| This was an absolutely beautiful property and condo. Our family of 5 stayed there for over a week and it was the perfect size and great location. We have visited the Big Island each year for the past 5 years and this was our first time staying in a condo. We will never stay anywhere else but at the Kanaloa in the future, and we hope to be lucky enough to stay in unit 2601. I can't say enough on how much we liked the property and the condo. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! See you next year! |

| Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Condo. The view is nice and the pool in front is great. It is too bad that this pool closed at 6pm. For an older Condo, it has been upgraded nicely. The master bathroom is very large and roomy, as is the bedroom. We ate all our meals at the Condo or made lunches that we took with us. There was a cooler in the closet that we used for our day trips. The shared BBQ by the pool worked well and was very nice clean every time we used it. We came at low season so using it was no problem at all. This was our first time the the Big Island and we had a great time. |

Rooms and amenities were sufficient and comfortable, although I
was not very satisfied with its cleanliness, especially of floor and
kitchenwares. We were also a bit annoyed with noises came from
upper unit. I guess one of bath rooms of upper unit is located right
overhead of the bedrooms of unit 2601. Noises of showers and
toilet flush came through a ceiling were not very comfortable. I
also thought the screens placed on the windows facing lanai should
be maintained. It was very hard to handle and have a couple of
small holes.
Besides these minor issues, however, we really enjoyed our stay at
Kanaloa. It's location is very convenient and easy to access to
beaches, shopping centers, yet hidden and quiet. I can't forget
beautiful sunset we saw from the lanai. I also emphasize that all
condo staffs were very kind and helpful as well.
If I have a chance to visit Big Island again, I will definitely come
back to Kanaloa. |

| This was a nicely decorated and well-stocked condo. It was great to have beach towels and chairs available as those items come in handy in Hawaii. Very comfortable, and the huge master bathroom was awesome. We loved the view of the ocean over the pool and hope to stay longer next time. |

Plenty of room for all 4 adults, gorgeous view from the lanai and easy access to the barbecue grill.
Aside from slightly erratic wireless access, no complaints from anyone and we'd all return without hesitation.
The owl picture in the main bath was a big hit! |

Ideal for a wonderful family vacation. Condo was a little dated but you could see updating was starting to occur. This partiular unit fit our family perfectly (two adults and two college student daughters plus a cousin's daughter).
Enjoyed the spectacular view. We are a very active family and most of our time was spent either in or under the water. There are numerous snorkeling beaches within easy drive.
Anybody going to the Big Island must catch a bite and beer at the Kona Brewery restaurant. The best pizza (Greek) we ever ate.
We hope to do this again. |

We spent four nights in this unit in January 2009 and loved every
minute. The unit itself was clean and tidy, despite a couple of gecko
visitors, and the lanai with views of the water and pool was
unbeatable. The location is close to downtown Kona but a little
removed, so it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed being right around the
corner from the grocery store so we could stock our kitchen and cook
some meals, which greatly cut down our vacation costs. I would
definitely recommend this unit, particularly for families with two kids.
One bedroom has a king (?) bed and the other has two twins.

| We have stayed at Kanaloa at Kona on prior visits, and really enjoy the property. The pools and hot tubs are wonderful, there is nothing better than sitting by the ocean side pool watching the dolphins or whales play in the ocean. Our suite was very spacious, The Lanai in our suite was also large with a great view to both the ocean and the pool. We had a great stay. |

| We are fond of the Kanaloa Condominiums, especially unit 2601. It's comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The unit is very convenient to the pool, bbq grill, and the rugged coastline. The master bath is large with a double shower and in a separate room has a jacuzzi tub that helps melt away one's cares! The kitchen is easy to navigate with an extra large refrigerator and wide countertops. The lanai is spacious with a table that easily seats six. Our one and only hope is that the master king bed be replaced as it's a little uncomfortable. |
