We had a wonderful stay in Unit 216. The condo was so comfortable we had everything we needed. There were plenty of fans when the trade winds slowed down.I don't think we could have asked for more.I thought it was especially nice when the manager got married and we had wonderful music that evening.Turtles came by our beach everyday we were there.Saw stingrays from our beach chairs. Cannot wait to go back!!!

This is the 3rd summer we stayed in unit 216. We love it so much that we got married right out on the beach outside our condo this summer. It's "our place". We almost hate to tell folks about Napili Bay Resort...it's our secret hide-away.
We rented two other units for family which were both nice, too. We still think 216 is the best value...great kitchen, nice view, good bed (we wrap bubble wrap around the bed leg as it can be sharp if you stub a toe on it!), good view, lovely furnishings! We can't say enough about Hans' condo!

My wife and I stayed in Unit 216 of Napili Bay for
5 nights. This unit was well appointed, clean and
perfect for what we needed and wanted. It was
certainly not deluxe accommodations, but I dont
know of any other place where you can have a condo
on the beach for under $100 per night! I think you
could not have more than 2 people in these units,
they are small.
Also, in case you don't know,
there is no air conditioning in these units. We
really only slept there and did not mind the fans
and the ocean breeze, but I think this could be a
problem for some people who are more sensitive to
the heat. The view of the ocean from this condo is
indirect, but not bad, and I actually enjoyed not
being on the bay front where it is more noisy and
people can look into the window...
We return to Napili every year and would not stay
any other place in Maui. We love the quiet and
would recommend it to anyone who loves a quieter
more family-friendly beach vacation. But please
don't tell anyone, we want to keep the crowds and
high prices in Kaanapali!

| Julie & I have stayed in the Napili Bay area twice before. This was our first stay at Napili Bay Resort and we loved it. It was located right on the beach and not more then a one minute walk to the water from our room. We had a partcial ocean view which worked just fine and a nice brezze coming through. It was nice and quiet area which we prefer over the larger resorts. We took walks in the morning along a trail north of the resort overlooking the water. But what made it special for us is that we got engaged on the beach next to the only tree on the sand. She said yes! Would stay again and again. |

We spent 9 days on Maui in Napili. We specifically wanted to stay at Napili Bay becuse of the direct beach access and the great tree that offers coverage on the beach. We weren't disappointed. Everything was provided in the unit including an ice chest.
Laundry facilities, BBQ and outdoor eating area were all great. We were appreciative of the proximity of parking to our unit.

Napili Bay is just beautiful! We love being able to stay in Maui and
have all the amenities right there. It is so convenient. All the units are
completely furnished with everything you might need. There's also a
couple of restaurants close by and the market is just up the street.
There are even washers and dryers on the property. It is perfect for
couples and/or families. We come back every year! |

| Great condo... very clean, right off of the ocean, and came fully equipped with everything. And by everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Not just the pots, pans and towels you would expect but beach chairs, snorkel equipment, etc. We loved every minute while we were there. Lovely remodeled space with awesome views of Napili even though it only had a "partial view." We will definitely stay there again and recommend this place highly to all our friends who go to Maui. |

| We had a minor snafu upon arrival - the maids indicated that they did not know we were coming and we had to wait for 2 1/2 hours while they cleaned the condo. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay. We usually stay at Napili Kai Beach Club, but we were on a budget this trip and the condo suited us well. We ate breakfast in every day, and had a couple of dinners on the lanai. There was no view from this unit, but we were steps from the beach. Complex was quiet and teh BBQs worked fine. We saved lots of money and still got to stay on the best beach in West Maui. We would stay here again! |

| The condo was a cozy little place with everything you could need-- a kitchen stocked with dishes and some spices if you plan to cook, beach towels, snorkels and masks, etc. The location is fantastic. We ate breakfast every day on the lanai, staring out at the gorgeous view. Then we'd go out snorkeling somewhere nearby and come back for lunch, then go back out to the beach or sightseeing. Home again to shower and change, and then we'd head out for a swanky dinner in Lahina or Kaanapali (short drive). The only drawback of this spot (if there is one) is that the complex doesn't have a pool. But it is within walking distance of a little grocery market to stock your fridge with breakfast and lunch foods. Also just down the beach is a pretty swanky resort with great food and drinks. Great spot and great money saver. After staying at one of the big hotels in Kaanapali and here, we'd definitely choose to stay here again. |

Well, it is in stunningly gorgeous settting and right on the beach. The condo is small but clean and attractive and well maintained. In general it has a wonderful welcoming and homey feel with (mostly) very friendly people of all sorts staying at the condo complexes.
The bed was very comfy. There were a few big cockroaches who would visit for snacks under the couch. Despite lots of fans, we had trouble keeping cool and there is no no way to fully close the windows against the crashing waves and roaring ocean. This disrupted/prevented sleeping. We also had a hard time finding space on the beach and were often bothered by loud people who tended to yell and smoke cigarettes. Blech. Oh well, I guess I need my own private paradise! (haha haha) If you are a gregarious, hard of hearing person who likes to be in a crowd, you will have fun at this condo. We stayed in Wailea during subsequent visits. |

Perfect spot for our 'non-resort' honeymoon |

We stayed in Napili Bay Condo 216 for the
second week of our honeymoon in June 2002 and
really loved it. We found this spot online
after searching for something that would be
chill and not 'resort-y', was inexpensive, was
on the beach, and had high speed internet. We
loved this place. The beach was just outside
the condo. There was a great coffee shop just
down the road (Java Jazz & Soup Nutz). Many
of the guests before us had written in the
guest book -- both about how much they enjoyed
their stay and about the sea turtles you could
find swimming in a small cove nearby. We also
found the turtles (and even managed to get a
few surprisingly decent pictures with a disposable underwater camera!). The high
speed internet worked perfectly and was very
useful in planning our mini-trips around the
island. We had a fantastic time staying in
this condo and will look into it when we
return to Maui. I highly recommend it.

| Our week at Napili Bay Resort (Unit 216) was perfect! The condo was clean, with a great kitchen, comfortable king size bed and all the needed conveniences (including beach towels). The management of the complex was friendly, helpful and accessible and the overall maintenance of the grounds and building was excellent. Unit 216 is just off of the beach, which ensured quiet and privacy. The ocean is just a few steps away and Napili Bay is a great beach, more low-key than the more "touristy" areas. There are some incredible inlets for snorkling just a few miles down the highway. The website and photos are perfectly representative of the unit and complex. It is an excellent value for the price. If you're looking for a vacation spot that isn't a loud/busy tourist area, with incredible beach access and clean/comfortable units - this is it! |

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in condo 216 in February 2009, and we will definitely return if we ever get the chance to go to Hawaii and Maui again. This was our first time in Hawaii, and we are still full of sun and sounds from the waves outside the Napili Bay, of whale tours, evenings in Lahaina, and the Road to Hana with spectacular views.
We are extremely happy that we found this little condo, much more private and away from the very large hotel areas, and with the seaview from the balcony and the beach a few seconds away worth everything! Also, we appreciated the internet facilities.

| I have stayed on this property several times, in a different unit. The other unit is identical but cheaper, with better furnishings and a lot more aloha (fruit basket, tropical flowers and coffee provided). Unit 216 was well appointed, but did not include a basket of fruit, although previous online reviews stated that one was provided (and that it contained the best pineapple the writers had ever eaten). If the owner/rental company would like to have a fruit basket sent to my home now, I would appreciate it, and revise my review accordingly. Also, there was no dining table and there were no chairs at all inside the unit. Other than that, everything we needed was there. It was clean and pleasant. It could use a music system to play CDs. The only audio was a little clock radio with scratchy sound. The kitchen was well equipped. We bring our own snorkel gear, but more was available in the unit, as well as boogie boards, beach mats and picnic gear. We had a great time on Maui, as we always do. We love Napili Bay and Kapalua. |
