| Home was clean and spacious in gated, nice community. Had issues with pool heat. I filled out form asking for heat. When we got there pool was not heated. Called mgmt co and they said it was overlooked and they would turn it on. They called back a again and said even though I checked yes they didn't charge me. So I had to pay additional money they next day for them to heat the pool. I feel as though it was their mistake and I shouldn't have been charged (which would have been good customer service) but I paid so my family could enjoy the pool. No instructions on hot tub, solar cover for pool was found in garage, not on pool. Because of this inconvenience, will not use them again. |

This is one of our most enjoyed homes and it is unfortunate that confusion over the optional pool heat charge negatively affected the opinion of Escape 2 Florida Homes. It is costly to heat the pool. As many renters choose not to use it, we offer it as an option to help renters save money. Our booking form clearly specifies the pool heat option and the associated price. In this case, our guest selected the option, but either forgot or neglected to pay for it. Once the guest contacted us and confirmed they would like to pay for the pool heat option we immediately accommodated. In retrospect, we could have been more proactive in clarifying whether they wanted the pool heat or not prior to arrival and for that we apologize.
Regarding the hot tub instructions, guests can find the instructions in the Guest Information Folder we provide in every home. We provide guests all the information they need within this Folder and are also available by phone to clarify any questions.
Previous guests have found it cumbersome to continually pull the solar blanket on and off of the pool if there is no roller mechanism. To make it easier we store the blanket in the garage and allow our guests to determine whether or not they want to use it and to ensure its longevity.
This is a wonderful home and we want to make sure your vacation experience is uninhibited. If you have any questions please contact us and we will be happy to address your questions.
