"Fairweather Cottage" is named for this home's original owners' wooden "ketch" that sailed to Avalon! This three bedroom, two bath two level house (the second level is one of the bedrooms) is located less than two blocks from the beach, and it has been totally remodeled. Two flat panel TV's with DVD players, an iPod player, two electric fireplaces and many more amenities make this a great family vacation home. Just sit on the front porch (AKA "deck"), kick back and relax, and watch the world go by!
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Rates vary by week and are subject to change. Rates do not include one-time cleaning and linen fee, 12% City of Avalon occupancy tax, and processing fees.

The best second Honeymoon!
I surprised my husband with a trip to Catalina for our 16th wedding anniversary. We had gone to Catalina on our honeymoon 16 years ago. This time it was better. We loved staying at
'The Fairweather'. It is the most beautiful home on the most perfect street. The home had everything top of the line. Very nice appliances and decor. We went on a 10 mile hike one day and we rode a tandem bike all over the island another day. Catalina is the most relaxing Island. We ate alot of great food and had tons of fun. We loved eating Breakfast out on the porch every morning. There was nothing that we did on Catalina that wasn't fun and enjoyable. We just didn't want to leave Catalina! More...

~Wonderful Calaressa~
I must say THE best vacation EVER!.... The cottage was very comfortable!!!! The rooms were very spacious and the front portch was AMAZING!!!!!! We will be renting this cottage every chance we get.... small but cozy :) Thanx for the wonderful experiance!!!!!!!!!!

great experience
This is our 14th Year donating wine and volunteering for the woman's forum wine tasting.
The location was close to the event, shopping and other activities on the island.
This was the best house we have ever rented for our stay. Our group was comfortable and relaxed the entire weekend. We would highly recommend your services to anyone staying on the island..
Please reserve this location for us again next year for the tasting.
