Guest Reviews for Paradise 2

Great place, but better to book both
Paradise II is a quaint little place, just perfect for a couple and a single - which is what we were. For the earlier part of the week, we had friends staying in Paradise I and it was wonderful to be able to let our two dogs and their one dog run around on the deck together. The gate at the top of the stairs is a definite plus for keeping doggies contained! The latter part of the week, next door was rented by another couple with a not-so-friendly dog. That meant that our dogs basically had to stay inside and could not run free on the deck, because all they would do is run over to the other condo and stand at the door, driving the Jack Russell next door crazy. I wish there was a way to separate the two decks, for just this reason. If I re-rent Paradise, I will make sure we rent both.
We had a minor problem with the water filter on the Kitchen faucet the day after we arrived and Collins repairman was there within an hour. It was great!
We loved the new furniture and the wide open living room. The big wooden tables on the deck are really nice also. The deck could use some nicer chairs though - and maybe a chaise lounge or two. Those white plastic chairs get uncomfortable after a while.
Stove, dishwasher and microwave worked great, but you might want to update the fridge - it's looking pretty rough!
We had a wonderful time - the place is situated perfectly in the crescent shape of the island to watch all the fireworks up and down the beach on New Year's Eve. The sunrises and sunsets down there are amazing and ever-changing. The dogs loved it, we relaxed and ate local seafood until we were stuffed.
Thanks. More...

WISH IT WERE MINE..............................
THE RECEPTION TO ST. GEORGE ISLAND WAS NICE. THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT. THE ISLAND WAS AN EXCITING ADVENTURE. MET WONDERFUL PEOPLE IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENTS. ONLY THINGS WRONG WAS: TROPICAL STORM "IDA" ROCKED THE HOUSE BAD ENOUGH TO KEEP US ON THE EDGE OF GETTING INTO OUR CAR AND RUNNING FOR OUR LIFE, THE DOG BITE TO MY RIGHT CALF, THE CATFISH I COUGHT(2 FT. LONG) DAMAGING MY TOTAL BACK MUSCLES, HAVING TO COME HOME WAY TOO SOON DUE TO NEEDING MEDICAL ATTENTION AND THE ELECTRIC OUTLETS IN THE KITCHEN AREA NOT WORKING (EXCEPT ONE BEHIND STOVE). OTHER THAN THAT ----- "WE'LL BE BACK!" THANK YOU SO MUCH - IT WAS GREAT......! More...

Affordable Family Hide-a-way
House feels secluded, lots of privacy on the beach. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Kitchen has essentials for cooking. Would be nice if owners added a few pieces of beach gear like umbrella, boogie boards or beach chairs. You'll have to bring your own. Wonderful great room with comfortable furniture and stocked movies for rainy days. Bring your own playing cards and/or board games - none are provided here. We saw dolphins almost every morning and evening, wonderful location for star gazing since all lights are out or curtains drawn for the turtles beginning at 7 p.m. We found tons of shells on the beach, one starfish, lots of crabs. Deck was nice and spacious, even though we shared it with our neighbors in Paradise 1. Our dog absolutely loved it, so did we and our 6 year old daughter. More...

Great loction and very comfortable!
My wife and I recently brought our dogs down to St. George
and stayed at Paradise 2 (I believe Paradise 1 is almost
identical). We had a wonderful time and the house was
perfect for what we wanted. Right on the beach and c;lose
enough to walk or bike to town. Accommodations inside were
very comfortable and clean. Being right on the beach was
fantastic!! We could enjoy a tasty margarita on the huge
front deck and watch the passers-by on the beach. Highly
recommend Paradise 1 or 2. More...
