The heated pool was awesome! The walking distance to the beach was great. The only negative thing i could say was that we were awaken one morning by the garbage collectors complaining, outside our window,about having to take the trash full of bottles. More...

The True Escape was as advertised....a "true escape." The house was very clean and provided nice space to enjoy. The outdoor area with the pool was a very nice amenity. We have young children so it was nice to be able to enjoy the pool while they were napping. The location was also nice given that the beach was truly just a short walk from the house. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend both the home and Resort Rentals to others.

Stayed 06/20/2009 through 06/27/2009 six adults and no kids. Home was great: clean; new furniture; new appliances; washer and dryer; air conditioner made that cold, like a meat locker. Private pool was great too, fenced in for privacy, so neighbors couldn't spy on our splash parties. Approximately 1/2 mile walk to beach and a sports bar. Words cannot explain how satisfied we were with True Escape. The house was beautiful and the pool was relaxing. This was our first visit to Hilton Head and we were keeping our options open. We planned on looking for other properties while we were there, but after arriving at the house we knew there were no substitutes. We have already begun planning our vacation for next year. We cannot explain how satisfied we were with the staff at Resort Rentals, especially Kim. Our son had locked us out of the house and we contacted Kim and she meet us at 10:30 at night to give us another key. The beach was a short walk and the bike path across the street gave us plenty of options during the day. My wife enjoyed writing in the diary left by the owners and can't wait until next year to read what others have written. More...

We took our 1 year old on her first vacation here. Having the pool at the house was wonderful, and it was extremely close to the beach as well. The house was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family of 3. We could easily walk to the beach, or just go out the back door and be in the pool.
