Wow!

We recently stayed at Solstice #15 in February
2010. This place has been, by far, the best place
we have ever stayed at since we've been visiting
Mammoth for the past 10 years.

Our group consisted of couples and singles and
Solstice #15 accommodated everyone.

It is very nice, clean, convenient, and most of all
comfortable. It met and surpassed all of our
expectations.

Very close to the shuttle stop and just minutes
away from the slopes.

I think we found the place for us to stay at for
years to come.

Super easy, cosy, and plenty of space!

After our ten hour drive through rain and snow from San Diego, CA we were happy and relieved that the easiest part of our trek was checking into Solstice 15.

The best thing about this condo is the underground parking! No need for scraping ice off the windshield or worrying about whether or not we had to dig out our car. Especially with the storm that hit during our stay, we were extra grateful for this ammenity. The condo itself is gorgeous and very spacious. Getting the key from the Chevron station was easy, as well as checking out. Not to mention the courtesy call from Mammoth Front desk the day before.

There was a total of 7 of us in this condo that could easily and comfortably fit 9-10. The fire is lit with the flick of a switch, the kitchen is fully stocked and dishes were abundant. plenty of seating room and fancy flat screen tvs. The jacuzzi was nearby as well as the elevator to the garage - it made it easy to get to where we wanted!

The free shuttle stop (to ski resort) was very close and easy to get to. Bathrooms were clean and organized. We stayed for 3 nights and although it was not required, we emptied our trashcans but were happy to know we wouldn't be charged extra if we hadn't (not like some other cabins). Heating systems worked wonderfully and hot water was abundant. The view from the condo was gorgeous (some backwoods).

The only cons were: 1. The king bed in one of the bedrooms had a HUGE (and i mean BIG) dip in the mattress. 2. The BBQ was unusable (grill is filthy). 3. Advertised free wi-fi had terrible connection - don't count on doing any work while there.

Other than that, no other complaints. I would definitely book this place again and with Mammoth Front Desk.

p.s. everyone loved the candy bowls full of candy!

Manager Response to Minnow

We appreciate our guest reviews for both the good and the bad. The owner has replaced the defective mattress, and I am happy to say the BBQ is again usable. This is a great unit, and the owner takes exceptional care of the property.

Perfect vacation home for 3 couples with children!

Great condo for parents and children. There is enough room and beds for everyone. Underground parking is a huge plus with a tall enough door to let a SUV in. Simply decorated with a modern touch.

There is a full set of steps to climb as soon as you get into the front door. It takes a some effort to load an unload all your equipment.

Nice hot tub just steps from the unit. Also super easy check in and out, no waiting around to finish paperwork.
