I have stayed at this cabin for several years. It has always been everything I am looking for in a vacation cabin. The recent remodeling has made it even better. The deck is awesome and the updated lighting is very much appreciated. The manager is the iceing on the cake! He was so attentive and friendly that we felt really cared for. It does have a steep stairway. It reminds me of the ship's stairway at my Grandmother's house so I don't mind it at all, but some might find it difficult. I read about Surfside Cottages in a Cape Cod guidebook. The managers were extremely helpful in describing the various cottages available when we called to make our reservation, and were just as helpful when we arrived. We stayed in Surf Side Cottage 3 for four nights in late May 2009 and loved it. The location is great and the cottage was charming. The rooms and furniture were in excellent condition. The cottage has a fireplace, new kitchen, screened-in porch, skylights, a second floor balcony, a barbeque and a bike room. You can hear the ocean from the porch. The cottage is one block from the ocean and about 1/2 mile from the Cape Cod rail trail bike path. The cottage had EVERYTHING we needed - dishes, corkscrew, fireplace matches. The stairs to the second story are very steep, which would not be good for young children or people with mobility problems. For anyone else, I highly recommend it. More...

This was a delightful cottage. The renovations were done with a great deal of care and thought. It has everything you need for a restful vacation. The location can not be beat. It was quiet and private. The rooftop deck offered nice evenings watching the full moon. The beach was an easy walk so we were able to take advantage of that quite a bit. The caretaker was very responsive and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat. More...
