Fabulously decorated with attention to the most minute detail. Fantastically appointed with everything you will ever need to cook, clean and be comfortable. Amazingly located just off the main streets so its quiet but so close to all the main attractions that you can walk to most. Serge and Dominique met us at the apartment, they were very flexible in our arrival time. They gave us a thorough tour of the premises and provided some excellent information of the local area. The apartment was excellent, much better that what was expected, very clean with absolutely everything we needed and more! Wonderful location, within walking distance of many of the tourist sights and very close to the metro, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I had a great 4-night stay in this charming and fully-equipped studio. The location in 2e arrondissement in the Montorgueil neighbourhood is ideal for anyone wanting a real experience of Paris life.

The hosts Dominique & Serge were very friendly and welcoming. They'd given me detailed directions to the studio from Gare du Nord, and were at the studio to greet me on arrival and run me through the studio's amenities. The studio was very well equipped, including wireless internet, cooking and clothes-washing facilities.

Montorgueil is a great neighbourhood with a real Parisian feel (although you may want to avoid rue Saint-Denis at night...). The nearby rue Montorgueil has countless patisseries/boulangeries, bistros, brasseries, etc. Two of the rue Montorgueil patisseries/boulangeries are particularly renown: Stohrer and Eric Kayser. For those after something a bit more commercial, the large Forum Les Halles shopping centre is also nearby.

It's also conveniently close to several Métro stops and the large Châtlet-Les Halles RER (train) station, which makes it very easy to get anywhere in Paris. It's also easily accessible from the Eurostar and Thalys terminal at Paris Gare du Nord (via Métro line 4).

All in all, I had an excellent stay at the studio and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. More...

Finding a place to stay in Paris can be an adventure if you're looking for a nice, central and affordable place. I went through that, but now that I found this studio, never again!

From the moment I was setting the dates for my stay until the day I left, everything went so well that it was a truly 5-star-deserving experience. The cozy apartment is small but has everything you need (and even more). The location is great, central for the Parisian tourist in a not-that-touristic neighborhood. And the best éclairs au chocolat are just 2 minutes away!

Serge and Dominique (the owners) really want to make sure your stay will be memorable. Mine was! And a place like Paris deserves a place like this to feel at home. I'll recommend it to my family and friends, to anyone that asks and, more important, it's my own choice for my next time in Paris.

Myhusband and I stayed here for the week of Christmas on our first trip to Paris. It was absolutely perfect! Dominique and Serge took everything into consideration in furnishing the studio, from a bottle opener to a voltage converter to a hair dryer and guide books!! They showed us how everything worked, got us settled, and helped us get a shuttle arranged for our departure.

The amenities were everything you would need to stay and save some money by eating breakfast in the apartment... including wonderful markets just a block over. The neighborhood is very safe and the metro was convienent. We used the Sentier metro stop and then tranfered wherever we needed, although many things, such as the Louvre, were just a quick walk away.

We hope to be able to stay here again one day and would not hesitate to recomend the apartment and working with Dominique and Serge to anyone we know. They were thoughtful and so nice... we loved everything about the stay!! More...
