I spoke with the guests before they left and told them the main interstate was closed, and most of the side roads up here were closed due to 3 feet of snow we received. Explained to the geust they could come on Saturday and leave Monday instead. Never heard back from the guest until after they arrived. The driveway was plowed and pathway was shoveled before they arrived. The guest called in after he arrived at the home because his other guest was lost. The directions were correct, the guest was just a little backwards as far as where he exactly was located. The other company comped a stay, not due to the weather but because the ceiling was caving in, in every bedroom and living space and the house was in disrepair. This guest will be staying with us next year (our guest ran into this guest's vehicle, and we happened to drive by the next day and spoke with him).Spoke to guest and apologized for their mishaps starting their stay. Offered a discount to come back with us, and he said he loved the home and will be back.
million dollar view
tall castle was a gorgeous house. I had doubts at first by the pictures, but there were many surprises once we got to the house. The double sided fire place was beautiful and the large rooms were spacious. I'm bringing my kids back in the summer so we can experience the area when its warmer. I'd definitely stay here again- the perfect house for an all adult getaway! Only one draw back is that someone should shovel out the drive way daily during the winter months.

Overall, It was not satisfies at all.
the house has good location but it wasn't clean( especially kitchen), some of appliances were not working and dead bugs are on the floor......

We loved the location...the...
We loved the location...the view was magnificent. The house could have stood a little more cleaning. Two remotes did not work and there was not a broom and dustpan to sweep up some of the dead bugs. Overall, though, we loved the house.
