My family and I stayed at the Sun Dunes house for a week this summer and we did not want to leave. It was very nice, clean, and made us feel like we were at home. The owners kept the place very friendly, there were books to read, movies to watch, and games to play. It was seriously just like home! We were close enough to the beach that we were able to walk there for the day and not have to worry about parking, we would also walk back to the house for lunch, let the kids eat on the screened in back porch, and then walk back to the beach. It was great! We did not have to clean the kids up from the beach too much while they were eating lunch because of the great screened in porch, we hosed off the sand and let them sit outside while we made lunch. I think it may have been one of my favorite things about this location. I cannot say enough good things about our trip, it was certainly the highlight of our summer. My husband and I and my two adult kids, 24 and 18, stayed here for three great nights. Having never rented accommodations like this before, I was a little nervous and hoped the place would be as nice as the pictures made it seem. Well, it was better. Very attractive, plenty of room for us, the kitchen is well supplied,the back porch is wonderful and the location to the beach is perfect-easy walk and just far enough away from the pier to be really peaceful. Grocery is just two blocks away. We met the owner, who was really nice and offered any help if we needed it. This was the first time my family has taken a vacation together in 6 years and the whole experience was better than we could have hoped. We loved the place and will be back for sure. I was looking for a place on Tybee kinda at the last minute for a holiday weekend. Found this place still open for the days I needed. So I booked it. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice our rental was. It was up to date and completely stocked with whatever we needed. The screened in porch came in handy and we used it alot. I would recommend the Sun Dunes to anyone. Especially if you need to be on a first floor plan, no stairs to climb. Thanks so much for making our mini vacation a great one with a great place to stay! Sun Dunes was wonderful. Even got to meet the owner who lives upstairs. The rental was comfortable, and nicely furnished. The kitchen had adequate dishes and cookware.

The walk to the beach was only 1 1/2 blocks, which was perfect.

And we really enjoyed the area of beach closest to the rental. It was far enough aware from the crowds in the pier area. And it was very relaxing not having wall-to-wall people on the sand. This allowed us to enjoy the beach even more, since we are from land-locked Denver, and it has been quite a few years since we've sat on a beach!

This was a very nice place to stay. It was clean and cozy. The outside porch is a nice area for eating or entertaining. We fit three people, a baby, and a dog here without feeling cramped. We will probably stay here again!
