Plenty of room and conveniently located

The parking needs to be clearly marked for which cabins in which lots. A DVD player and a working TV in the game room would improve my odds of staying there again.

Not what we were told!!!

I had read reviews after booking, called to switch to a more expensive cabin! Was told all problems were corrected! The problems were...no steps from parking lot to porch (my mom is 74 yrs old, she was with us-explained that to co. when I called to switch). Shared parking lot with another house who were having a house party with 8 vehicles, no room for us., water pressure upstairs was horrible, rug in middle of floor is curled all the way around, I tripped several times, my 4 yr. fell twice, no cover over skimmer in hot tub, door to deck locked people out on deck, no way to go around. Sheets were not on all of the beds, no trash..hot/cold water on washing machine is reversed...all of these problems were mentioned in previous reviews..the only thing that was corrected was the AC...have used Cabins USA several times in the past (w/o a complaint), don't think we will again!...When called at ck in, was told manager would not be in until Sun..the day we were to ck out! Not as big as it appears in the pictures. TINY TV...if sit on sofa, can't see but it one spot! I now know "why" I couldn't switch... More...

Family Getaway

The cabin had issues with no air conditioning for 3 of the 5 days we were there. The back deck door off the kitchen "locked" one of our family outside - the door could not be easily opened once closed and locked. There were no steps from the parking area up to the front porch - I almost fell because the mud and rock incline was steep and slick. Had I fallen, my attorney would be writing this review.

Outside of these problems, the cabin was nice and roomy and we saw relatively few insects and spiders... a testimony to the spraying Cabins USA does each month.

Convenient to Pigeon Forge and close to Gatlinburg.

Cabins USA offered to move you to a different cabin but you refused the offer saying there were too many people to move. You did accept another offer we gave you although the issue was resolved the very next day.

It was nice and homey!!

The first night, we had no air. The hot tub was in dire need of a face lift. After maintenance fixed the air, it was good. The water pressure was horrible, and someone pooped in the pool we were allowed to swim in and we couldn't swim on that day!! The kids enjoyed the pool table, but were a little leary about the hot tub because of exposed wires etc. Thanks

NEEDS ALOT OF WORK!!!!

My family & another family booked Family Getaway on the internet. The rooms looked spacious & everything looked wonderful. Looks can be decieving!! The rooms are alot smaller than what the pics appear online. We had to share a parking lot with another cabin which they had 6 cars. The house, not a cabin, had burnt out porch lights, pool table had lil holes all over it, washer only had very hot water even on cold/cold setting, no outdoor faucet to refill hottub, basement door has a cheap lock, walls have marks all over them, carpet is stained, no chairs on the front porch & it has no yard at all!! I called the office 4 days straight before they would send maintance. Maintance finally came Thrus morn(we left Friday so that did us no good)& he told us the issues we had had been brought to their attention for a while but nothing was done about it. He had to fill hottub from the washer faucet & run a hose under the kitchen table. The backdoor sticks so bad that we could never fully close it due to the fact you couldn't get it open. It is hung crooked. We did enjoy the hottub when we were able to use it, we had enough room for the size of our families but it was smaller than expected. We were close to town but right next to 2 other cabins. No view from backporch, tree branches are hanging onto porch. No steps or concrete walkway to get to the cabin just a dirt hill with pieces of carpet on it. The pool was very nice & clean. Furniture in cabin was outdated & starting to break. The char grill had a broken wheel that would fall off. The microwave didn't have a glass plate in it, livrm rug was curled along edges & the kids tripped over it all the time, dressers were scratched, tv was very small, no dvd player. Cabins USA was told all this but only fixed the burnt out light bulds & filled hot tub. The house was very clean & had room for us but it needs alot of work. We thought $840.00 for 5 days, 4 nights was alot of money for what we got. More...
