Cleaner
We thought that the house was nice but it could have been cleaner. You pay a cleaing fee and expect it to be clean. When we arived the hot tub was nasty and the water was black. After calling and complaining we got clean water and got to use the hot tub the next night. there was spider webs everywhere. floors were dirty and dishes were dirty also. More...

Battling mice for our groceries!
The cabin was nice looking and decorated with a good cabin feel. However - we got groceries on night 1 and went to bed. When we woke up the next day a mouse had chewed through our bag of bread and pooped all over the countertop... The cabin rental service then charged us a cleaning fee to leave the cabin early!!! I'll never stay in a rental cabin again! More...

Snowy Vacation
This getawy close to town was great for a cozy secluded time to spend with your wife. We enjoyed our time very much although we did have a
water problem and a kitchen stove problem. Recomended for anyone with a lovely wife who likes a good mountain view of the smokies

Problems with this cabin
The issues with this cabin far outweighed the positives and for the most part reflect things that can be easily remedied.
1. The kitchen was poorly equiped with regards to dishes, cookware, and utinsels. It made cooking and our meals extremely challenging and un enjoyable. There was no ice maker (which I can live with), but also no ice trays which made making ice impossible.
2. There was no firewood provided, yet the surrounding cabins all seemed to be well stocked. We found ourselves scrounging every day for fire wood and this was an extreme dissatisfier.
3. The linens were minimal and comforters were very old and thin. There were sheets, but not one single blanket for the bed or the sleeper sofa. I had to use four sheets for my children to sleep underneath and they were still cold.
4. Lastly and most disturbing is the hot tub. We utilized the hot tub the first two nights post sun down. On the morning of day three, we lifted the cover to discover the most disgusting dirt brown water which was apparently what we sat in the two previous nights. It looked unsanitary and the thought of sitting in it was repulsive.
I give the cabin two stars only becuase the location, view, and layout were represented well and very acceptable, however as previously stated, the maintenance and customer services issues made our stay forgettable and quite dissatisfying. More...
