Angels Hideaway needs to stay hidden
Getting to the cabin was not difficult, getting up the driveway is another story.(to be expected in the mountains)
Entering the cabin we were excited, but we were even more excited when we all decided to stay in a nice hotel where the beds were level and we could stand straight up to take a shower.
This was the smallest cabin I have ever seen and that says alot because we visit Gatlinburg on an annual basis. I felt like I was playing in my daughters play house. Everything was small, the refrigerator, stove, bed, bathroom, shower, tv I could go on and on. We still laugh and say the tour of the cabin was one of our funniest highlights of the weekend. Full refund given with no difficulties.
Doesn't even deserve a star!!!! More...

Interesting experience, not the nicest place to stay.
I had fun, but to be honest this place needs lots of work...the dining room chairs were broken(If I'd weighed more I might have ended up taking a spill) the rocking chairs were broken, the bed was really lumpy and sagged in the middle, and the driveway was nearly impassable (Make sure you get a good head start and pray no one is coming down). The pool table is pretty beat up and not at all level. The door locks were a pain to open and could stand to be re keyed or at least greased. There was a gigantic black stain on the bathroom floor, The DVD player remote was missing, so no fast forwarding or rewinding if you missed something. Still it was pretty inexpensive, and the hot tub was fun, even if they over-filled it. The pots and pans in the cabin are pretty beat up (Missing handles, scratched up and dented), but there's a coffe maker, working refrigerator, and a microwave and a stove, so you can make do and cook a nice meal. No cork screws though, so don't forget your own. More...

Angels's Hideout should be well hidden.
Cabin smelled moldy, bathroom had mold on 1/4 round near bathtub, vinyl floor in bath moldy, hotwater did not last past one shower, dishes dirty, mini blinds greasy, kitchen sink leaked water and it ran around and under the frig, hottub was lukewarm, no plate in microwave on the turnstle-had to use a dinner plate, front door was 1/2 smaller than opening-deadbolt could probably be opened with a kitchen knife, lights so dim could not read a newspaper, bathroom mirror was unusable because it was so dim, pool table could only be used at the ends-sides too close to the wall to use a cue, quilt on couch was stained with red-I hope it was Kool Aid.
Complained to Cabins USA-no manager on duty. They gave me glasses and forks and said they could send someone to look at the hottub. Told them the mold was a bigger problem. They could care less. Manager would get in touch with me. They could have offered another cabin.
When we left my wife asked for the manager-no one on duty. Like pulling teeth to even get the woman's name.
Came home and then discovered complaints on the Internet. Same problems, fiflthy, mold, no response from the management.
terrible vacation in this dump. Wife had a scratchy throat and was coughing. It disapperead when we got out of that hell hole.
All you guys care about are the $$$$. You chareg cleaning fees a damage waiver and don't clean or replace damaged items.
A total ripoff. Ruined our Thanksgiving. More...

don't stay here
When we rented Angels Hideout, it said it was ok to have 4 people. It was a little on the small side for that but was ok for just coming in at night to sleep. The pool table's room was too small but entertained our son anyhow. The home was not clean and didn't have any towels, toilet paper, etc. We weren't told that we needed to provide those items. The worst thing about this home was getting to it. The driveway was almost straight up. This was never mentioned to us when we rented it or when we picked up the keys. Without our 4 wheel drive I doubt we could have made it up the driveway. All in all, the price was entirely too much for what you get. More...
