Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Great Smoky Mountains! This very nice real log home has two bedrooms upstairs, two bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom. Comfort is the name of the game with two king size beds and three queen size beds, a fully equipped kitchen, wet bar, pool table, covered 6 person hot tub on the bottom deck, two wood burning fireplaces, two entertainment centers, and seasonal swimming pool and clubhouse access. The entire family, including the dog, will have a fabulous time at Bears Den II.

my / our stay at this cabin was great. walked in and it was as good as it gets, i would tell all to look at your cabin BEFORE you pay. the first cabin u s a put us in was a total mess, and my 13 year old triped and fell on old deck boards on the front porch, was unable to do much of anything do to pain in leg, this i hope will shine light on u s a cabins gatlinburgs and the way they take care of these cabins . bears den 2 will always be my choise in usa cabins, the owner of this cabin makes sure of its care. thanks for the review chance, p.s. the manager of usa went above her job and took very good care of us . nice property but needs a bit of tlc
we loved our stay at the bears den 2 . my wife and i were celbrating our 27th wedding anniversary.and wanted to getaway . we brought our two dogs along and they enjoyed there first vacation . we really love the big decks and the leather sofas and fireplace .
first of all the hot tub needs a thermostat fix one morning it would be too hot when we had it up . and then when we turned it down a little . it would be completley cold . you had to turn it down and back up to get it to work . also the jets worked occasionaly . the dishwasher was broken .
when i called the office to ask if someone would bring firewood up from the wood pile to the firewood holders . they refused to comply saying the wood is down there isnt it . . being both in our 50s with back problems we were expected to lug the wood up ourselves a giant set of stairs . i also asked if someone would put some chlorine in the hot tub and remove the refuse the staff representitive acted if i was asking extrordinary requests . one more thing the pool table we had fun on of course . but how it is set up you cant make shots. it is too close to the wall .
the place is great just needs a little tlc and nicer people at the office More...

If we had known that you had back problems we would have had our maintenance men carry the wood up to the top deck. We have addressed the other issues with our maintenance, housekeeping and front desk staff. We hope you'll stay with us again.
September Stay for 6
This was our first Cabin rental and I admit I didn't know what to expect. The Cabin was nice, cute decorations and functional but it needed a good cleaning. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets and the floor needed a good vacuum. There were a few things missing as advertised like trash bags and toilet paper and there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor. There were also a few important lights out (front entrance) that made after dark entry difficult. We will probably come back but won't stay here.
