Our two week annual holiday is very important to us, so we were delighted with our choice over the Internet. We stayed at Island View and apart from the odd bit of traffic we made full use of the garden. Highly recommended accommodation because on the odd rainy day, everything was to hand indoors. There was nothing we could complain about, everything was beyond our expectations. A peaceful and very relaxing holiday.

This is the second time we have stayed at Ach na skia Croft and both times have been wonderful. The cottage is very cosy and very comfortable, with everything you need to self cater. An excellent self-enclosed garden for our dog was a real plus point too. The location is amazing, the views fantastic and the sunsets to die for.

We spent a week walking along deserted beaches in glorious sunshine, eating fantastic fresh seafood from Andy Race in Mallaig, and relaxing in the total peace and tranquility at the cottage. We loved it and hope to be back very soon.

superb week, hot weather was a great unexpected bonuswhen all we were hoping for was dry.Accommodation very clean, comfortable extra well equipt and the view just extra special, could not capture the panorama on camera.Seeing the light changing over Eigg Rhum and Skye and watching superb sunsets was breathtaking.Plenty to do and see whatever the weather ,short walks or long, spectacular views including some of the little white sandy bays with blue sea . No distance to travel for views of white sandy bays and blue sea .Views from Trigh golf course or walking along Loch Morar just beautiful. Imagine getting sunburn on Local Hero beach in june .BBQ'd some fresh seafoods from Mallaig which tasted beautiful in the open air in a wonderful settings. Will have to hope for some mixed weather next time to feel inclined to explore area more as too nice to roam much this time.Very content and relaxed now.Want to hurry back. Will take some boat trips next time .

We have stayed at Ach na Skia many times and have stayed in all the lodges and Cottage. They are all to a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness, very well furnished with everything you could wish for in a holiday home. Mike and Sheila make their guests very welcome and do all that they can to make sure your holiday is a success. There is also a sauna and games room which is handy on the occasional wet day. No visitors who come to Ach na Skia would leave saying that they would not come again in fact so much is repeat business. A wonderful place to stay with spectacular views, could not wish for anything more.

The location of our lodge had breathtaking views of Eigg and Rum.The sunsets were especially memorable.
We took ferry trips to Skye (returning via Kyle of Lochalsh,5 Sisters and Fort William) and Rum.There were some wonderful beach walks and we played golf at the Traigh.
The lodge was very well equipped in every way,
though we did find the working of the ceramic hob a bit challenging!
We think that this lodge would be an ideal holiday choice for a youngish family. There is lots to do for kids.We didn't use the sauna or the games room because we were too busy exploring the fantastic countryside.
This was a very comfortable and relaxing week.
We were glad that we had booked in over night stays in Ballock and Moffat to break the journeys.
