We stayed in the third floor penthouse. We've stayed at Carol's Greyside before, but this was the first time in the penthouse. It is truly spectacular. We especially loved the rooftop deck for watching sunsets.
There are two slight problems that should be addressed. The first is that WiFi is only available in certain portions of the condo. In particular, the signal was not available in the study, where we located our laptop computers.
Secondly, there is some sort of problem with the elevator on the ground floor. Even though the folding door was closed, we continually had to put a stick in the hole at the top of the door to open the outside door.

We have vacationed for many years on St. Simons Island. Carol's Greyside Penthouse tops all the vacation rentals we have had! The quality of the unit was exceptional; the decor was lovely and homey and we had everything at our fingertips that we needed. We loved the close location to the village and other amenities. The beach was so close to the unit, we felt like we were on a cruise ship! We returned from our trip totally renewed and refreshed, and hope that we will have the opportunity to return before too long.

We loved it. We were the first after the rebuild and of Carol's Grey Side and it definitely won't be our last.

The accommodations were terrific and the view out of this world - and of course the dolphins playing in the water right under our nose throughout the day was an activity you couldn't buy.

The first week it rained and we loved it even more with the ambiance of the fireplace and ocean view.

It was comfy and clean. The pantry was empty but I guess we cut back where we can.

We will be back in 2011 with family so we will be renting at least two if not all three floors for the first two weeks in May 2011.
