Peaceful and idyllic setting with lovely views throughout on 5 acre estate setting, just one mile to Orleans center; convenient to beaches, ponds, shopping, restaurants and sights. Renters are invited to use the heated swimming pool at the main house on the abutting lot. The main floor contemporary open floor plan has a large living room and dining room, with access to deck and expansive views from large bay window with widow seat and sliders. Chef's kitchen and Pantry make entertaining a treat. Master Bedroom has deck and master bath with large shower with massage jets. Two bedrooms on second floor, both have private baths and each have both a queen bed and twin day bed. Amenities include air conditioning, 3 LCD TVs, built in sound system, three decks. Elevator from garage to main floor for easier access.

| I highly recommend Hillside House in Orleans, MA as a vacation rental. My husband and I had rented the Poolside Guest House at Morgan's Way for our honeymoon and for our summer vacation the following year. We enjoyed our stays immensely. The hosts were welcoming, and the house was clean, pretty, and had everything we needed. Last year, when we heard that there was a house to rent (Hillside House) that would be apropriate for a family, we rented it, given how much we had enjoyed our earlier stays at Morgan's Way. We could not have been more pleased with our experience at Hillside House! The house itself is beautiful -- well-built, well-appointed, and in a location that makes hitting the beach (bay or ocean) easy. Access to food (supermarkets and great restaurants) is also easy. As before, we found our hosts to be welcoming and kind, attentive but not intrusive. We were happy to be able to use the pool at the main house while enjoying the privacy of a rental home. The owners give clear details about what they will provide and what the renters must bring themselves. They also clearly state what their expectations are as to the use of the house (which are respectful, not restrictive). My family is returning this year and we can't wait! |

I wroten a reveiw recetnyl anfd then was contacted by the owner who said she was in fact continuing the rental we had ion 2008. The world is lucky because it is a wonderful andage and her husband are warm and inviting and scrupulous in their care of the property and I hope we can return next year! You will have no regrets or complaints if you rent Hillside House.
and you wil want to return year after year.

| The house is perfect and clean and lovely and brand spanking new like a band box . it is light and airy and open with a relaxed feel. the kitchen and bathrooms are spotless and new and well kept and luxuriously appointed. The owners live next door and are friendly and helpful and accessible. The location is very central yet feels isolated and woodsy; and the pool is wonderful. We would love to stay again and again and are sad to see that it will no longer be available after this year. |
