A relaxing weekend in Edinburgh

The accommodation is in an excellent location near Princes Street, Georges Street, Hanover etc. The best Italin restaurant is Bar Napoli on Hanover Street ++++ The appartment was ideal for a family and great if you have a car cause there is a garage. Just park up the car and walk the rest of your vacation. More...

one of the best in the city

When we arrived we were met by a kind man who told us everything we needed to know about the flat. It was very clean, very nice and modern. The bedrooms were wide, the kitchen new and the living room big and confortable. The house is cute, in the centre near the supermarket, the main street and all attractions. The price is very convenient for what they offer. I can say it was a wonderfull choise and I recommend it to everybody who would like to spend a fantastic holiday in a fantastic city. More...

A great time

Well presented apartment, very convenient location, parking in garage ver handy, meet & greet from letting company very good. Thistle Street lane is a rather grubby back street but was well lit and felt very safe. Great restaurants in Thistle St itself and you can walk just about everywhere from here. More...

Great location, but apartment a bit grubby.

Situated a short walk to Henry and Prince's, street the location was perfect, the apartment was quite bright and modern and it was quiet during the night. Slight negatives were that the apartment, especially the carpets, were rather badly stained, the crockery needed washing again and the bathroom smelled bad and was not clean. Another slight niggle was that the blinds were transparent, keeping no light out in the mornings. This wasn't a huge problem as the noise in the alleyway in which the apartment is situated came to life at around 7am every day so lie-ins were not an option.
Would recommend to early-risers who are looking for a great location. More...

Manager Response to holidaying family

I agree that as we are now well into the season (late August) the property has seen a large number of visitors and as we have not had the best of weather this year many guests have had to enter the property with wet dirty footwear and that has been very detrimental to the carpet which has resulted in it starting to look very tired. As a result it has been scheduled to replace the carpets and re-decorate the property in the low season in a few months time.

However I strongly refute the comments on cleanliness though. The maintenance manager who inspects the property prior to guests arriving is very particular on this subject and would not tolerate any areas within the property that had not been cleaned properly.
