OK until after
Was a nice unit, had everything we needed, only issue was after our stay, cant get out deposit back....its been over 2 weeks since our stay and because the maid hasn't given her damage report yet, we cant get our deposit back.
So if you feel like you can live without a $500 deposit, I recommend it More...

This guest has been refunded their deposit in the timeline as set forth in our contract. Perhaps they were confused over the wording. We have since clarified the wording and added deposit options. To date we have returned all deposits to all our guests.
No complaints was brought upon us nor the listing directory during their stay. Check-in procedure was handled prior to their arrival making this a hassle free check-in. Airconditioner is brand new and we were not informed of a loud noise of our airconditioner during their stay or other guests that had stayed. As far as value, this guest commented that this studio unit has everything they needed and yet, he rated this studio a 3 star. As far as cleanliness is concerned, we have 25 great reviews on our homeaway connect guestbook reflecting that this studio unit is the cleanest, best equipped and most comfortable place our guests had stayed at.
This studio unit is so popular that we get guests returning year after year and get back to back bookings. We are committed to the standard of quality and we will continue to improve and upgrade as we find it necessary making this studio unit SECOND to none in the best value in Kihei, Maui.
On a side note the guest has not acknowledged the receipt of their refund and gift even though we have a signed postal receipt. Very rude and ungrateful.
Lastly, if you don't mind milesrock@a(blank-blank).com as your guest, I recommend him. We would rather take a different guest.
Great rental in Kihei
The unit is clean. Furniture is good. All appliances work fine. I especially liked water filter, large flat TV, DVD collection, internet access and printer (this one turned out very useful to print airplane boarding passes after online registration). The unit is a perfect place to stay for 1 or 2 people if you have a car; there is a beach within walking distance but it is not as good as many other beaches on Maui. More...

Great Place to Stay
The condo we rented was very nice inside, had awesome tv, great / fast internet access, a dvd player, and other great amenities that are just not provided in hotel rooms. The decor is beautiful..... and the bed was very comfortable. The condo is close to downtown Kehei and not far from other towns you want to visit in Maui. The pool and spa were great to hang out and use after a day of scuba diving. And we made use of the public bbq's a few times. Would most definately stay there again. More...

I will come back every year!
This is a perfect little studio apartment for two or three people. I found the location to be very central and the surrounding beaches were amazing. The complex has an immaculate pool and hot tub which we used every day. This unit in particular has been well maintained and has everything you need. The owners are very helpful and were always available to give some assistance. The free phone calls and the big screen tv were just bonuses as the unit itself was as comfortable like home. I will definitely come back again and have told my friends and family that if you are to visit Maui - the Chilled Coconut is an awesome condo and an affordable price. More...
