wonderful spot close to everything |

Haines was our favorite place in Alaska, and the Attic was our favorite
spot where we laid our heads. After many hotel rooms, we were finally
able to prepare our own food bought from the market just up the
street, including a beautiful freshly caught salmon from the Chilkoot
River. The town's medical clinic is right across the street, which came
in handy when my mom needed an emergency treatment for asthma,
and all the town was friendly and supportive. When the doctor told us
we had to spend three more nights in Haines, everyone in our party
was ecstatic! The attic has a great view, sunny deck, spotless rooms,
including a kitchen stocked with all the basic dishes, pots and pans.
Really a perfect place. We would go back in a heartbeat. Many thanks
to Randa and everyone in Haines who were so kind and
accommodating. |
