Best Accomodation Ever. First Class Experience Without The Expen |

| This was the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. We had everything we needed upon arrival, fresh milk for that all important cup of tea/coffee after a long journey, and the furnishings were first class. I kept thinking there had to be a mistake because it was so luxurious!! The location was perfect for seeing all that Edinburgh has to offer, very central but extremely peaceful in the pretty cobbled lane. Around the corner is the best butchers in the city, and a fantastic organic food shop which is great for a self catering apartment. If this wasnt enough, the garage facility saved us a fortune in parking. If you dont have a car though its still a brilliant place to stay as it is only 5 minutes to the central train and bus station and all sites are within walking distance from the apartment. Alan and Fiona were totally flexible about checking in and out, and even offered to do any shopping for us prior to our arrival. First class in every way, I will definately be staying there again as Edinburgh is a fantastic city and I've now found the best accomodation available, don't tell everyone though !!!! Thank you Alan and Fiona xxx |

Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own luxury apartment |

From the offset Alan & Fiona were very helpful in booking the apartment and showing us around even when we turned up at 8:30 at night.
The apartment itself is ideal, with a great kitchen (even a dishwasher),downstairs WC and lounge/dining area, with a further lounge, bathroom and bedroom on the upper mezzanine level. This place even has a garage to park your car, a luxury in Edinburgh especially when hotels are charging you ?25 for the privilege. The fittings and furnishings are quality and the bed one of the most comfortable we've slept on (memory foam). All this made our stay like a home away from home.
Although there was only two of us, the apartment would have no problem accomodating four people. It has luxuries such as a LCD TV with digital broadcast, toiletries (if you forgot your own) and small items such as milk, juice and a fruit when you arrive that adds that small personal touch.
It's a pretty easy place to find, off Leith Walk and obviously ideal if you are arriving by car. The area is typically Edinburgh, surrounded by wide cobbled streets and grand town houses, a 2 minute walk around the corner and your on a main street with shops and restaurants, so it's in a quiet area but with amenities just a stroll away. 5 minutes walk away and your in the heart of Edinburgh, Harvey Nichols !!
The apartment felt like a home away from home for us and was really well furnished and equipped. It has been done to a very high standard and at half the price of a hotel room was great value for money. We would say the only downside is there are some other mews being renovated on the street, but we were not disturbed at all and they should be finished soon, in all this is a perfect place to stay.
This apartment was ideal for us and we couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome or better location, we have already recommended the apartment to friends and family. We promise you won't be dissapointed. |

Stayed for three nights in Fiona and Alan's beautiful mews which certainly lived
up to all the previous excellent reviews about it. The apartment is decorated
beautifully and very well equipped. Fiona and Alan have thought of everything.
On arrival we were met by Fiona who gave us lots of information about
Edinburgh and the locality. The mews is situated in a lovely part of Edinburgh
close to the city centre. There are lots of lovely restaurants and pubs nearby
but the mews itself is in a very quiet location. I am already looking forward to
going back to Edinburgh and will certainly stay in Fiona and Alan's mews. I
cannot recommend this place enough. |

| We enjoyed our stay in this beaufifully kept self-catering mews house very much. The owner kindly let us know that we could check in early and showed us round, being very friendly and helpful. Everything that might be needed is provided including DVDs suitable for our young child. The central location is great as you can walk everywhere and come home for lunch if needs be. There are loads of places to eat nearby. It even has a garage - a rarity in central Edinburgh. |

This is an immaculate property with all the mod cons and extra facilities on top. Parking a real life saver in a busy city such as Edinburgh. Perfect location approx 5-10mins from Princes Street and all the shops! Pubs/bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance, including an award winning Italian. Owners very friendly and gave lots of useful advice and help as this was our first stay in Edinburgh, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome. This property is well worth the money and I am really glad to have found it as we will definitely be staying again!
Many thanks Fiona and Alan |

| Fiona and Alan represent the very best of Scottish hospitality; they offer a warm welcome and have thought of everything to make your stay as trouble free as possible. This is a lovely property, beautifully furnished and well equipped, centrally located at the same time as being tucked away in a quiet lane. The surrounding area is packed with interesting shops, great pubs and reataurants, and there is first class food shopping for those who want to make use of the excellent kitchen facilities. The only thing I didn't like about my stay, was the fact I couldn't stay longer. I would recommend this property not only to my best friend, but also to my mother!!! |

| This place was nothing but perfect for our needs, we throughlly enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh, the accommodation was more than what we expected, even after reading all the positive reviews it was done up to a very high standard which made it a home from home experience. Alan and Fiona were really good as well, they even got us milk and left snacks out for us, they also offer to do the shopping for you for when you arrive and provide you with a receipt, they do not charge extra for this...they are very very hospitable and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to stay, it is also very central....5 mins walk into city, but it is tucked away so you can have a nice quiet nights sleep. Thanks to Bruce and Fiona. We will definitaely be back for another weekend away!!!! we just loved it! |

We had a lovely time in the Mews. Fiona really helped to ensure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We arrived very late and she had provided bread, milk and many other nice things for us as well as comimg out to meet us on arrival.
We enjoyed a local show, sampled a delicious French restaurant and also caught some good bargains at the shops just a short walk away in Princes Street, all whilst our car was safely tucked away in the garage keeping cool!
Ideal for teenagers.
Looking forward to our next visit. |

| We have stayed at Fiona and Alans place a few times now, and will definitely visit again. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes walk from the city centre but with lots of restaurants and bars even closer. The apartment is however in a very quiet spot - so its not noisey at all. The apartment is fabulous, and Alan and Fiona have thought of everying that you could need for your stay. Highly recommended! |

Beautiful modern accomodation with parking. We have stayed at this property four times, and will definately stay again. Have also recommended to several friend/colleagues who have stayed there too.
The owners, Alan and Fiona are very helpful and friendly.
There is everything you need there, a home from home, and within five minutes walking to shops/playhouse.
We highly recommend this property. |
