75 Stairs to Paradise

We spent a week at the Cottage. A great time and lots of recreation. The Guesthouse had everything we needed,a big bathroom, full kitchen, and a king bed. The views were spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset and we loved the plethora of birds, feeding just outside our livingroom window. Trixie was an extra bonus. She is a great dog and has the agility of a well trained athletic high jumper. We love you Trixie!!!!

The 75 stairs to paradise was definately worth it. We got used to it by the fifth day. We were well toned and more attractive.

Bob and Jeff are great host and they took really good care of us. It has to be one of the quitest places we have stayed. We loved the coffee and sent some to our friends. The house is well decorated and we had all the amenities we needed.

We stayed busy for the entire week. The only thing we missed was the TV so we could watch some of our favorite programs. There are no negatives about the guesthouse. We will do it again in the furure.

Beautiful place - wonderful touches!

This is a great place to stay! The house was just beautiful with every small detail, art, paint, comfy king size bed, great bathtub, you really couldn't ask for more.

The ONLY downside was the 75 (or 83, lol) steps, which though invigorating with a 12 year old dog and people that can't pack light, it was a lot to carry! Hahaa... The comfort was certainly worth it though.

Thank you!

Perfect escape

The guesthouse and grounds were perfect...private and peaceful. Bob and Jeff have turned this cabin into everything you need to forget the city and yet have every comfort.
When trying to distill what I liked best about the place, I just kept changing my mind...perhaps 'everything'.
My dog, Sally, was very happy with her stay too -- lots of tail wagging and lying in the sunshine on the patio.
I am now patiently waiting for summer, so I can return.

Best In Town!

I've been in Bisbee on business trips several times every year since 1980, and have stayed in nearly all the hotels, motels, B&Bs and inns in town. But the best of them all is Doublejack Guesthouse.
This very private space is extremely well appointed, very comfortable (including the dreamy bed), and set up for in-room breakfast. The view is outstanding, the resident hummingbirds are beautiful, and the hosts are very gracious-they appear when you need them and only then.
I'll be returning soon, probably with my wife this time.
