The Linnaeus suite is a very comfortable and picturesque place to stay. We
were surprised by the spacious rooms - sleeping room and living room - in a
very tasteful and modern design. Comfortable bathroom and a handy small
kitchen facility.
The very kind owners paid a lot of attention to the design of the apartment.
Above that, it is very clean, fresh and new.
Nice neighbourhood with good restaurants and shops within walking distance.
By tram it is only 15 minutes to the heart of the city.

We hebben in de linnaeus suite een heerlijke huwelijksnacht gehad. Alles was goed geregeld en van hoge kwaliteit.: De accommodatie, de service, het ontbijt. Ook de ontvangst was erg vriendelijk.

I loved this place. It is right in front of church and very quiet and peaceful and romantic. Supermarket is 3 minutes away from the house and there is reasonable priced restaurants and very excuisite restaurants both in the same area. Tram station is 2 minutes from the house and it is so easy to get to the entertainment areas of Amsterdam.
Lidy (the owner of this house) and her Son Rim helped us carry our luggage and gave us detail directions to go anywhere I wanted. She would print me time tables and maps with her translation added to them. She was wonderful.
Interior of this place is just amazing. She's got a great taste. There was evne a tiny kitchen inside of a little closet! It was cute yet very functional. There is no stove, so you cannot really cook, but microwave, nespresso machine, hotwater boiler, a little fridge.
She left a bottle of Procecco for us and it was very tasty. She also left more than enough nespresso refills for us to have coffee everyday. Also Earl Grey Tea bags.
This was my first time in Europe and I am glad I choose this place. I was able to experience residential feel and see how peoples everyday life
is like. Not only the party part of Amsterdam.

Very cosy and elegant place to stay in Amsterdam. Spotless clean. The owner is extremely nice. With tram or bike you are in about fifeteen minutes in the city center. It has a kitchen-in-a-cupboard where you can prepare breakfast, coffee, and the like. Big balcony with a view to a huge and nice inner courtyard. Fantastic apartment that was even better than it looked in the photos. It was perfect for us as it is located on a quiet residential street and is modern, stylish, clean and very comfortable. The apartment is situated about 20 minutes from central Amsterdam on the number 9 tram route which also stops at (or near to) a number of the key places of interest. There are a number of very good bars and restaurants near the apartment too if you want to eat close to home any night and a good supermarket and bakery around the corner for breakfast stuff too. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam – perfect if you don’t mind climbing some Amseterdam style stairs to the attic apartment! More...
