Vacation Rental Description
This wonderfully indulgent one bedroom cottage is on Center Street, just one-half block from Duval Street. Quiet, hidden and exclusive, this historic cottage was renovated in 2002 with exquisite attention to details that will surprise and please the most discerning couple wanting total privacy and comfort. Entering the private deck, you will be greeted by a table and chairs, BBQ grill and lush greenery. The cottage, dating to the 1880's, reminiscent of a large dollhouse, has three separate gabled roofs, all connecting to provide respite from the outside world. The bath is the ultimate in self-indulgence with tumbled marble floors, azure tiled walls, obscure glass block window, tiny lights on dimmer, two shower heads (one on each end) and a tiled seat. A 5' vanity with multiple lights over the vanity-to-ceiling mirror has plenty of storage space, even for a longer stay (and you may probably never want to leave). The lushly colored and appointed kitchen leaves nothing to be desired; even wine and champagne glasses are provided. Multiple windows provide lots of light (but total privacy) making the kitchen/dining room a special place to enjoy your morning coffee. Or go outside to the courtyard and enjoy your breakfast while planning your day's activities. The living room is small and cozy, yet has a sofa, chair and a French door leading outside to a small, private space with a park bench for cozy conversations with your favorite beverage in hand. Numerous books about Key West, its history, its authors, its homes will occupy any time you might need to fill. Or you might rather go outdoors and climb the circular stairs to your personal heaven, complete with a two-person Jacuzzi with a back massager, multiple jets and bubbles. Two chaise loungers can be enjoyed for tanning sans suits or watching stars. Tiny lights surrounding the deck will make the evening sparkle.

| My fiance and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Buena Vista cottage. There was a VERY PRIVATE jacuzzi, very romantic! Found the cottage to be very clean. Location was absolutely fantastic in relation to Duval Street, Mallory Square, and beaches, (we enjoyed Higgs Beach the most). Quaint, lovely, loved it! Can't recommend it enough for couples wanting a romantic, private getaway. Plenty of fridge room, grill, utensils, very comfortable bed, plenty of bathroom space (double shower heads!), felt right at home! I will be recommending the Buena Vista cottage managed by Key West Vacation Rental in Key West to everyone once I get home. They were also very accomidating and a pleasure to work with! LOVE IT!!!! |

| We absolutely loved our stay! Would definitely recommend it to anyone and plan to return to the same spot. It is nice a private, clean and very close to the activities that make Key West the wonderful, fun, fabulous place that it is. The hot tub on the roof of this cabin is worth it! We would get up very early, go upstairs, and wake up while the stars were still out and it was a great way to relax after riding bicycles all day long. I really don't want to give it a great review because I want it all to myself! :) The only negative is there isn't a lot of closet space, but it doesn't matter with all the good about this place! |

| We had a wonderful time at Buena Vista Cottage and can't wait for a chance to come back to Key West and stay there again. Having accidentally scheduled our stay during Spring Break, we were a little worried about privacy. This cottage was the perfect oasis for us while still being close to activity on the main drag. Even our skittish cat was undisturbed and had a relaxing time. The private hot tub and balcony were completely secluded. Inside it was quiet, fresh, clean and stylishly decorated. Service was great, with just a quick walk down the street to the main office. This gets my highest recommendation as a vacation getaway. |

| i would recommend this property to anyone! its the perfect size for 2 people. some people may not like the bathroom with the curtain, but it didn't bother us at all. everything was in great shape when we stayed. the price was great. the house and jacuzzi were very private. it's set in the perfect location for walking to everything. the kitchen was stocked with every imaginable gadget needed for making drinks or eating. on street parking can be a challenge at times, but so are most places in that area. i would stay here again, but have moved onto bigger properties rented by the same company (Esperanza Suite once and Island Oasis twice). we had a 'rental cat' for the time we stayed too. a cool orange tabby hung out on the porch for the duration of our stay. it reminded us of home. |

| We loved staying there. Great for a reconnection of my husband and myself after 12 years of marriage. Great location, safe and private. Walked or rented moped to get where we needed to go. Duvall St. so close......and so close to some fantastic resturaunts. |

| Stayed at the Buena Vista during the weeks of Fantasy Fest 2007 and 2008. (October) PERFECT location in that it was close enough to, yet far enough away, from all the action on Duval Street. Ideal location for a couple. Small in size, but all the necessary amenities are present for a very comfortable stay, to include cooking meals. Common pool areas are steps away, which is very nice when needed to use the restroom or grab a snack when pool lounging. Personal roof top Jacuzzi was an excellent way to end a day/early morning of Duval Street partying. The ONLY negative aspect was the Wi-Fi connection was intermittent and poor. Ended up using Internet Cafe across the street when needed to go on-line. A bit on the pricey end, especially during prime season or events, but well worth the money. |

| We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon at the Buena Vista Cottage and loved every minute of it! The location was perfect - close to everything on Duval, but far enough so that it was a quiet secluded environment. The cottage has everything a honeymooner could want - rooftop deck and hot tub, outdoor grill, and tons of space inside. The pool was a very short walk away and most days we had it all to ourselves. And Key West Vacation Rentals was very accommodating and check-in was quick! We've since returned and stayed in a different cottage - both were fantastic! |

We loved our stay in Key West at the Buena Vista Cottage. It was such a roomy little place to stay. It was so clean and tidy, fully stocked with the little things we needed (dishes,silverware, papertowels,toilet paper, etc)
We loved the large fenced in patio area, with the winding stairs up to the hot tub on the roof/deck! The staff was very nice, and we would like to come back again for our next vacation! Thank you!

| We loved staying in this private cottage. It had everything we needed from dishes and silverware to a roof-top hot tub. The private sun deck and grill were great features that really made this feel like our own special island hide away. You are so close to Duval Street and having a help-yourself breakfast every morning by the pool was a great send off for the adventures awaiting us on this wonderful island. We have stayed at other resorts on Key West but this is the one we will return to again and again. |

| I took my husband to Fantasy fest for his 50th b-day and rented this unit. It is great for one couple. Tt gave us alot of privacy, which was what we were looking for. It was also within walking distance to everything. We are now owners in Keywest, otherwise we would have rented again. |

Let me see. 2006 i rented the buena vista for holidays. unfortunately my fiances mother died on christmas day. i had to cancel. i was charged by kwrc for the entire stay, minus one night. how kind. i rented buena vista in 2007(i know) in an attempt to make up for the fiasco. mistake. the bathroom has only a drape next to the bed. cute cottage. cute complex. that is where to cuteness stops.we were surrounded by construction noise everywhere. KWRV said too bad. not their property. it was. next a large party of very rowdy guys moved in next store. KWRV as well. no sleep no rest and they would not move us. we left, paid double our airfare to get home. lastly, KWRV had the utter gall to charge me $50 for missing keys. they were left in the cottage. and they used my amex card from the previous year and 2007 they said they did not take amex. all in all........run as fast and as far away from them as you can.

We stayed in the cottage for 2 weeks and overall enjoyed our stay. We did have
some issues with ants and various other bugs, but we are from the south and
realize how difficult to control bugs. The walled courtyard was excellent. We
enjoyed sitting outside in privacy. We found the mattress to be worn, sagging,
and hard. |

Nice tucked away location that provided a great deal of privacy. Great for a romantic getaway. Jacuzi tub on top deck a dream especially at night when all the stars are out! Will definitely return!

Greatest Honeymoon Spot |

We rented this quaint cottage for our honeymoon in January 2006. We weren't sure what to expect, but let me tell you that we were very pleasantly surprised ! The cottage was adorable, clean, and very well furnished with all of our necessities and the location was FANTASTIC !! We were able to leave our car parked and walk to everything on Duvall street. Also, the pool and breakfast room were right next door and they were very peaceful and well maintained. We loved our hot tub and our quiet little yard. So peaceful at night to watch the stars from our roof !
We cannot wait to go back and would use this rental company and this cottage again ! |

| Our stay at Buena Vista with Key West Vacation Rentals was a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and the cool, colorful cottage felt like home. We liked it so much we came back in August 2008 and stayed in one of the other cottages (Sun Set Suite, I think) since Buena Vista was booked. The amenities like the pool were clean and relaxing. The people we met who were staying in the other cottages that shared the pool were fun and friendly. We will definitely be back again! |

This was the BEST place we have ever stayed! My husband had set everything up while he was deployed to Afganistan. Everyone was so kind to him and helping have the place ready so that he could ask me to marry him!!! YEAH!! The stay was perfect along with the location and the view was PERFECT from the hot tub! Thank you so much for making our stay so great!

| We went to Key West for our honeymoon, and the Buena Vista Cottage was perfect! Lots of privacy and right off of Duval Street but still very quiet. I would definitely stay there again, and we will be back one day! Breakfast by the pool in the morning was nice as well. |

We enjoyed spending a week in the Buena Vista Cottage.
It is just a short walk to all the Duval ST. night life. The cottage itself is comfortable and private.
Service from the housekeeping staff was the main drawback. Communication was difficult and it always seemed like we had to ask multiple times for something before the issue would get taken care of.
It seems that they have a set strategy to ignore guest requests and hope that they don't ask again instead of just taking care of the issue. |

My hubby and I stayed here for our Anniversary. We had rented another
from the same owner once before but that one was not available so we
rented this one. It was so very private. The inside was painted very
cheerfully and celebratory. Somewhat small but oh so divine. The
rooftop hot-tub was to die for. We felt so special having a birds-eye
view of the neighborhood and yet it was very private. Would highly
recommend. We also had use of the main pool, stocked with great
breakfast treats!! We completely enjoyed ourselves. |

| While it can be scary to rent something online, there should be no worries about renting the Buena Vista Cottage! It's just as charming and delightful as the photos suggest. The location is perfect for walking down Duval Street or exploring the sights and sounds of Key West. We walked everywhere and didn't move our car once the entire time. The decor is lovely, everything is clean the kitchen and gas grill were terrific for cooking. The hot tub on the roof is unbelieveable; watching the stars at night while sitting with a drink in the tub is spectacular. There was a pool behind the cottage right next door, easy to find, easy to use, etc. Checking in at the office was terrific, everyone is so friendly-which is typical in Key West. I would go back in an instant, and would absolutely stay at the Buena Vista Cottage or any rental through Key West Vacation Rentals! |

Zounds! When our covertible pulled in to the narrow street @ Buena Vista
Cottage, the sun had just set and we were exhausted from our road trip that
started in Miami. If the dashboard lights were bright enough you could see
the smile on our faces. This is when our expectations met reality. We opened
the street side door to find a narrow path that led us through tropical
vegitation to a fully equipped home which was perfect for our getaway. My
wife and I were celebrating our 20 years of marriage that started back in the
Keys on Duncan street. And now, back in the Keys we found a spiral stair to a
small hot tub that overlooked the area homes. We were greeted by a stunning
one bedroom fully equipped bungalow that was freshly painted in bright
colors and exceeded comfort. I wish I was there right now!

| The Buena Vista Cottage is tucked away but only a block from Duval. You have tons of privacy and all of the amenities you need. It is perfectly located for convenience to all of the fun things in Key West. Rent a bike and keep it on the porch - you won't need your car at all. Relax in your own private hot tub (great at night for star gazing). Sit by one of the two pools. Enjoy the fine restaurants that are all accessible by bike. Or just relax in this perfect little place. You'll love it. It's a Key West gem. |

Buena Vista Cottage, and its sister properties, are by far the best places to stay
in Key West. All are tastefully decorated and meticulously kept. The staff
members are helpful and responsive to your needs. On our first visit, in
December of 2001, we were late arrivals and the staff had left lights on, soft
music playing, and a bottle of chilled champagne for my birthday! You can't
feel more welcomed than that. Their rates are extremely competitive, and the
proximity to Duval Street, the Square, and the nightly sunset "happening"
make Buena Vista Cottage and sisters the absolute best value in Key West! |

Steps to everywhere you want to go, if you ever decide you want to leave the private hot tub and King Leisure Bed! Steps from shops, bars & ocean but you don't hear or see a thing save the birds and the stars! |

My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is very quaint and comfortable, the two pools are steps away, and you are right in the middle of things. A perfect getaway, cant wait to come again this year.

| Room was small but comfortable. Very private. Had issues with grounds and pool. They were not cleaned on a regular basis (maybe once a week).Pool temp was luke warm at best. Water was murkey and always had leaves in it. Broken CD/Radio by Pool. Alot of money for not having the place cleaned up. |

This probably won't be as detailed as others have done....
But we stayed here on our wedding trip in March 2008 and couldn't have found a better place to stay...nice quiet offstreet condo with hot tub on an upper level, gated so that you don't have to worry about anyone getting to your place while away, etc...We received a bottle of Champagne.... We didn't use the nearby pool but found the accommodations very nice, close to everything on Duval or wherever you might wander...also very close to a nearby CVS convenience store for anything you might have left at home,etc..
This is a true gem of a place for the price for many reasons (Too many to list).....I have stayed in Key West nearly a dozen times at various places. If you are looking for location to everything and quiet/secure place to stay in Key West...This is it!!

| Has been my favorite vacation spot. It was in the perfect location. I never had to move my car once a parking spot was snagged. You can rent golf carts at the end of the street, and the guy there would let us park and plug ion the cart there on the lot. That is the best way to get get around there. |

We loved the bright colors, but the best parts were the incredibly romantic private hot tub atop the second story deck and huge king sized bed! When we return to Key West we will definitely stay here again! |

| The Buena Vista cottage is so quaint and romantic. The 2 person spa on the roof gives you privacy and a view to the night sky like no other...and one block off Duval is awesome - quiet enough for when you want to sleep, close enough for when you want to play. I can't wait to go visit again! |
