Totally restored and remodeled in 2009, the Breeze Inn has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, a cook's kitchen, comfy living space with flat-screen TV, shelves full of the author's books and other wonderful "beachy" reads, and a fabulous and private screened back porch. The cottage is decorated from top to bottom with family-friendly vintage and antique treasures collected from estate sales and flea markets around the country by Mary Kay Andrews. Wonderful - "old style" renovated beach cottage |

| We stayed at the Breeze Inn for 5 days in October. Everything was ready when we arrived and we found the house to be fully equipped. We had great weather. We enjoyed the wonderful renovation of this beach cottage. It's very cozy and well done. Walked on the beach, which was deserted. We drove in to Savannah several times to eat dinner (the only restaurant on Tybee I would recommend is A J's Dockside). We also enjoyed walking around historic Savannah. I loved this cottage, but wouldn't recommend staying there with more than 5 people - it's tight on the living space. Overall, a great vacation spot. |

| The house was great and had everything we needed (though an ice cream scoop in the kitchen would have been good). The managers were quick to respond when we locked ourselves out, and were very helpful. Only a couple of blocks from the beach but on a quiet street, the house was a perfect balance in terms of location. The clawfoot bathtub in the master bedroom is wonderful, but for some reason doesn't get water as hot as everywhere else (pipes maybe?), so if running a bath you may need to supplement with a pot of boiling water to achieve normal bathwater temperature. The kitchen is gorgeous, the A/C works almost instantly, the furniture comfortable. Would definitely go again. |

This is such a cute place and it is very well stocked with everything you would need. The kitchen is fabulous - I wanted to take the Bosch dishwasher home with me.
The MC staff was very friendly and helpful too.
The only things I would mention - it would have been nice to have some extra toilet paper and for some reason there were only 2 or 3 coffee mugs and a light in the lr was burnt out but these were not big issues. It was very clean too which is really important to me.

| This was our "first" family vacation with my husband and our 2 kids (22 month & 9 month olds). We had a great time relaxing and taking it easy. There was plenty of room for the kids to walk/crawl around without worring about breaking something. It was a nice OPEN layout on the main level. The fenced in front yard was great to let our oldest play in with the water toys we brought with. It was also close enough to the beach with a short bike ride the the kids LOVED on our bike rentals! My husband and I were still able to enjoy "us" time as well after the kids went to bed with the nice patio. Very family oriented town!! |

Diane and the staff at Mermaid Cottages could not have been more helpful.
They were candid and honest in their assessment of the various
accommodations available to our family and assisted us in selecting one that
best-suited our needs. We loved everything about the Breeze Inn. Decor and
furnishings were beautiful. We would not hesitate to stay here again and
highly recommend Mermaid Cottages.
We also made arrangements to rent beach chairs and a beach cart from Tim's
Beach Gear. He too, was extremely efficient and went out of his way to make
certain the items were delivered to our cottage shortly after our arrival. The
items themselves were in great condition. |

We were extremely pleased with Breeze Inn. The house was nice and clean
and the location was great. This was our first stay on Tybee Island and
it was a wonderful experience. The house had plenty of room and the
neighborhood was nice and quiet. |

The home was beautiful and everyone was very comfortable. I loved how at
ease the home made me feel! Perfect for our girls' weekend with plenty of

| We had a girls book club weekend away and the Breeze Inn was the perfect spot for us. The cottage felt like home as soon as we opened the door. Beautifully decorated with enough space for all 5 of us ladies plus 2 labrador retrievers to feel comfortable. The area was wonderfully quiet and the staff for Mermaid cottages are terrific. Very welcoming, professional and personal. We'll definitely be back for another girls weekend. |
