Guest Reviews for 29 - Flatlanders' Retreat

icey but nice
the cabin was lovely, even though actually parking in front of it was totally out of the question, the resort staff was totally unprepared for the snowy weather, i didnt understand this personally because one would think that being up in the mountains the possibility of in climate weather is great and that it is easily prepared for. other than having to park all the way at the lodge and walk to the cabin it was a good time.
another thing i thought was outrageous was that the lodge was charging $2 a person to shuttle them to their cabin because they were unable to clear the roads themselves, being charged to get a ride to the cabin you are paying at least 1k for because the resort didn't have the resources to keep the place travel able was ridiculous.
other than the lack of road preparation and common courtesy, it was a good trip
the cabin was fantastic and it is a gorgeous place!

Thanksgiving getaway
The house was great, it actually snowed a little on Thanksgiving which was a big plus for my children from Florida. The house itself was roomy, fit us all, we had absolutely no problems with anything and would highly recommend the house to anyone interested.

First time mountain experience
29 - Flatlanders was a very comfortable retreat. It had everything you could wish for for a family stay.
The parking was not so good as the house is on a hill and the road had not been tarmaced. The location was great if you just wanted to sit back and relax. Besides the swamming pool on site there were no other amenities, and you had to travel quite a way to go horse riding, rafting etc. More...
