I can't think of anything negative to say about this home away from home. All of the furniture, bedding, linen, and other living supplies were either new or in great condition. Plus all of the little "extras" that you may need for home cooking as well as local beach entertainment were provided, our 2 1/2 year old was especially excited about all of the sand toys. This is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation near some beautiful Maui beaches! This stay was my "test drive" of condo life in Wailea, which I fell in love with in 2008 while staying at the Four Seasons.

Enter GC #166 and a great experience. Location is good, although saying it's walking distance to shops and beach I found a stretch. The unit itself is very smartly decorated in low key "old Hawaiian" with a well laid out floor plan. VERY comfortable for a small family or two couples. Kitchen contained all the basic utensils and linens were plentiful. Nice big flat panel TVs in living room and bedroom. View of the lanai is relaxing and fun to watch the golfers go by. Adult pool is heated to perfection and the few times I was there, had it to myself most of the time. Parking is right outside the front door.

Working with the Walkers is a dream. Highly professional and are in touch at all the appropriate times.

My only complaint and I should have remembered this as just basic logic - but the golf course gets out there EARLY in the morning to do "yard work". Mowing seems to be Tuesday/Wednesday but the workers are going up and down the cart lane in gas powered carts very quickly after sunrise. I was in the unit probably more than most vacationers are, and mowing got a little grating after three or four hours. However, this was two days out seven. Not a deal breaker.

I also missed Stupid Hotel Amenities like small french milled soap, lotions etc., but I *LOVED* having a refrigerator, toaster and microwave. My food (and liquor!) bill was half of what it was during the big hotel stay.

The grounds are quite pretty, and worth an evening or early morning walk. Nice neighborhood. The entire stay felt warm, comfortable and safe and lacked that underlying sterility that I sometimes experience staying at even some of the finest hotels in the world. I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Maui. Greg & Jackie's condo was a great choice. From the Tempur-pedic beds, luxurious bathrooms, fully stocked modern kitchen to all the gear you'll need for a full day at the beach, they've thought of it all! Did I mention the 3 flat screen TVs too which we all loved! We were very sad to leave, great for families and couples and situated in Wailea, a really nice upscale community.

THE CONDO WAS SO COMFY AND COZY....THE BEDS ARE SUPER-COMFORTABLE...MY BACK HAS NEVER FELT BETTER !! THE BIG SHOWER IS AWESOME FOR AFTER THE BEACH WASH OFF'S, THE KITCHEN IS FULLY EQUIPED WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO EAT AND HOME AND SAVE SOME CASH FOR THE AWESOME SNORKLING ON MOLIKINI....PARKING IS CONVIENT...MY BEST FRIEND AND I WENT FOR 6 DAYS AND IT WAS THE MOST RELAXING TIME I'VE HAD IN YEARS...BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF OCEAN FROM CONDO AND CLOSE TO ALL THE BEACHES !!! WE CANT WAIT TO BOOK THE NEXT VISIT !!!
