charming home, nicely furnished with beautiful lakefront view

We have used Long and Foster for both of our visits to Deep Creek Lake. The service is first rate.

The home was very inviting with the warm wood floors, and mulitiple recessed/available lighting. The pictures on line do NOT do it justice. The photos look rather sparse. The home was perfect for 3 couples. We did not feel lost in a huge space, nor did we feel cramped. There are two seperate family areas. The lower level holds the pool table, 2 bedrooms, a full bath, and a large leather sofa and 52 inch flat screen. The middle level has the kitchen which was stocked with upper end cooking utensils, dishes, pots, glass ware etc. You definately feel like they furnished this home to be enjoyed. So many places you stay are furnished with the family cast offs. Not here.
The middle level also has open high ceilings, windows, a view of the lake that is awesome. The master suite is also very nicely done. The upper level has the last master suite. AGAIN, nice furniture, charming bathroom with large whirlpool tub.

The only thing missing was an iron, ironing board, hot pads for the oven etc, and better pool sticks. If you have your own pool stick bring it along.

Don't base your visit on the photos they have on line. They are not impressive. The home really is sweet, high end, and perfect for one family or more.

The backyard has a steep hill to the lake. They have a fire pit, but it is mostly large rocks around a flat area. We did not feel comfortable using it, since we would have to get a bucket of water to put it out at the end. The pond on the hill could be cute, but there were no instructions on how to turn it on. And the lift from the home to the base of the hill is not for those of us renting. They did have nice porches. Two swings. One by the water, and one on the lower deck.

All in all, we would go back!

This home provided all the ameneties needed for a relaxing getaw

Dreamer's Inn was well-located in the heart of the deep creek area. It was within close proximity to the town which made it easy to get to restaurants and other attactions. We especially enjoyed the size of the home, the size of the rooms and the privacy of each room. All the rooms with the Queen-sized beds had either an ensuite bathroom or it was immediately across the hall. Because these rooms were on different levels, it provided the ability for separate families to stay and have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped.. We made a large breakfast and also prepared our own dinners. The kitchen table was great for a large gathering and we were able to relax as a family with card games etc.. It was nice to have the pool table for another alternative to something to do. This home was great in accomodating alternatives for inclement weather. Because it rained, we were indoors quite a bit but were able to enjoy ourselves just as well. We were still able to use the hot tub and it was very peaceful and relaxing to see the light snow fall. There were only a few things that we might improve upon. There were far too many "bears" and other knick nacks that had to be pushed away to do make space in the kitchen and in other locations it just seemed to clutter things. But, this is fairly minor. The view of the lake with the park across the way was beautiful and peaceful (I'm not sure what it's like in the full summer season).. The slope down/up was a bit concerning.. but it was manageable. I would also suggest, a bit more seating in the basement.. we took chairs from the upstairs deck as a temporary way to make it work. Also a place to put towels for the hot tub would be great (but it wasn't a huge burden not to have it.) The service we received through Long and Foster was great. Upon arrival the fireplace was not working, but someone came over within 30 minutes and it was working another 30 minutes later. I would recommend this place.

Dreamers inn review

Such a beautiful and clean home! We enjoyed our stay sooo much!
Everything in the house was clean and in working condition. The only thing we
could not locate were potholders in the kitchen.
The first few days there were renters in the long and foster rental next door-
blarney cottage I believe- there were way too many of them with 2 or 3 kids
each. They were very noisy- even people we met down the street were upset.
Very glad to see them leave on Tuesday. Perhaps a line of pines between these
2 close houses could help with a feeling of privacy and maybe some noise
reduction.

Awesome

The house was better than we expected based on the pictures. We couldn't have asked for a better house to stay in for the weekend.
